New HEB in Katy - Excellent Fruit

Wow! I am so happy that we now have an alternative to Brookshire Brothers and Walmart close to my home. Brookshire brothers is getting better since they now double and triple coupons once again, so it is great when they put items on sale and there are coupons for them since their pricing is still high on things. The produce at BB and walmart is horrible and well Walmart after the other day is on my don't want to go there unless I absolutely have to.

I picked up my freebies today from the flyer sent for HEB's grand opening sale (started today) and a bunch of produce, oh the produce was so pretty and fresh. I got cherries for $1.88 lb and texas peaches for $1.27 from a farm just down the road and those peaches were so succulent, strawberries for .98 lb container. Sample galore today, my kids filled up there were so many.

Oh, they brought back the pomegranate soda my husband and I use to splurge on so I had to buy a bottle.

Okay that's enough! May HEB have some great deals and run walmart out of business.

Where in Katy is this new store? near the BB? I'm not by the BB very often, and haven't lived there in years, so if you want to pm me where it is, that's fine (like directions from I-10 to the store, or address so I can look it up)!
I'm not a big fan of HEB, but do have to admit they usually have good produce and meat.
