HEB recalls Hill Country Fare bread

Officials with HEB are recalling Hill Country Fare bread sold at their supermarkets because of the possible presence of foreign materials, company officials said late Tuesday.
The brands' white thin, extra thin and 24-ounce wheat sandwich bread are affected by the recall.
Only items with the following product codes and “best by” dates are affected by the recall — 09 HBB 123 Best By May 13 and 09 HBB 124 Best By May 14, officials said.
The recall is precautionary and there have been no reports of any illnesses, HEB officials said.
Company officials did not say what type of foreign material may be in the recalled products.
Customers can return the recalled items to the store for a full refund, officials said.

May 4, 2010 – H-E-B, committed to ensuring the safety of its products, is issuing a precautionary recall for the following due to the possible presence of foreign material:
Hill Country Fare White Thin Bread - UPC Code: 0004122046090
Hill Country Fare Extra Thin Bread - UPC Code: 0004122063420
Hill Country Fare Wheat Sandwich Bread (24 Ounce) - UPC Code: 0004122078985
Only the following product codes and best-by dates are affected:
08 HBB 123 Best by May 13
09 HBB 124 Best by May 14
This is only a precautionary recall. No illnesses have been reported. Customers who purchased the affected product are asked to return it to the store for a full refund.
