If you didn't get the newsletter, this last issue was all about kindness. We recognized some board members who consistently go out of their way to be kind to others, either through offering good advice, support to someone in need, or from SCSD - Serial Coupon Sharing Disorder, otherwise known as RAOKs.

So, we want to hear from you if someone has shown you some kindness on the board. It's a great way to give some props to those who have done something kind for you!

I would love to share. First of all, everyone I have met on the board has shown me great kindness, so big thanks to everyone ....

And today, I received an RAOK in return for one that I sent another member, so obviously I had no idea this was coming at all, but they sent me 5 of these q's that I was ISO for awhile, and was having such a hard time getting. It really really made my day that someone would go out of their way for me like that. Thank you very much momabrown3 - that was very nice of you!

Ooooh and we can't forget about hopeky94 who encouraged us to support the animal shelter in her community who had taken in the multiple abused dogs on very short notice. That was quite a generous project to take on and we were so lucky to be able to be a part of it!

There are so many giving wonderful people here at HCW and I hope to read everyone else's stories as well!

Yes where to start when I found hcw I was at my worst I had to pick up and move to another state .I had to leave a good job and walk away from everything and the worst thing is someone stole my kids christmas.sherry3388 talked me into puting a tree up and helped with raok ski aka donna for q that helped alot. I also won a few roak's.Also the information and roak to help to get q's for baby cereal for my sister's baby.thanks twomoms and everyone that helped even down to post when you have to learn you learn fast.I have learned so much and still learning on my way to haveing a normal life not woundering how will I feed my kids today.thank you for haveing hcw.

Sherry3388 is very kind. She's helped me out almost from day one, answering my endless questions, and she even sent me a very unexpected RAOK a few weeks after we did a trade!

As soon as I saw this thread, I knew I had to post-- to say THANK YOU to chitownmelli!! She really went above and beyond to help the abused pups, and her compassion for helping was so clear! She also shared a very personal story with me to offer advice for another question I had, which honestly brought me to tears... She has to be one of the most caring, big-hearted people I've ever "met"!

And if I gave accolades to everyone individually who so generously helped me in gathering coupons to help the pups, I know I'd surely forget someone... So I'll just say that I was blown away by the response and the help!! Thank you so much, each and every one of you!

I know there have been others here who have kindly helped me with advice, RAOKs, etc. too...

I'm so happy that the kind people overwhelmingly outweigh the not-so-kind people, here at HCW!! As a board, we should be very proud of that fact, as there are so many boards out there that can't ever say that!

I got a nice PM from someone here who obviously wanted to remain behind the curtain. This person knows who they are.

After several not-so-nice PMs I got after going off my meds and neg repping a boatload of folks, only a few who REALLY deserved it, it came at just the right time.
