I have really enjoyed reading all these stories!! Made me cry. I too believe in 'karma' and that they are angels among us everywhere. I have 2 of my own stories to share....

Last yr, my dh had been off work for 15 mos. b/c of a back injury. Not only was he on worker's comp. only receiving 67% of his income, but during this time, he also became unemployed b/c his previous employer of over 11 yrs. told him that if he couldn't come back and drive a truck full-time they didn't have a job for him. At the beginning of his injury back in '05, I gave birth to our son, our third child. We were devastated.

Well, last year around Sept. we started getting these white #10 envies that had no return addy, just our name typed on an addy label and no postmark, just the stamp cancelled out. We received 4 diff. envies w/cash in them that totaled $600 and in each one there was a white piece of paper that said "In Jesus Name". I am forever thankful and grateful to that mysterious person that sent us money in our darkest time.

Then a few mos. later, actually Nov. of last year, the worker's comp had stopped, we had no income coming in and dh had been searching for a job for almost 2 mos. at that point. He was going up and down the roads in his truck stopping in each place asking for an application, submitting his resume, etc. And since the job market was done and we live in a rural area, finding a job seemed impossible. Well, this one place he stopped in was gated and had a guard out front. He was telling the guard our story b/c the guy had asked 'why the long face?' And started to tell dh about his story that was very similar to our's and how he was out of work, had small babies and no money. This guy was out looking for a job and was given a $20 by a stranger to help w/gas to look for a job. That $20 got that guy the gas he needed to apply for the job that he had there at the gate for the past 25 yrs!!! Well, at their parting the man handed dh a piece of paper and said "God Bless. I'll be praying for you and your family that you find a good job."

Dh opened the paper to find scripture and a $20!!! Dh used the money for gas and the next wk he landed the job he has now and has had for just over yr now!! It's the job of a lifetime w/great benefits and great pay!! I am forever grateful to that stranger at the security gate at a business down in town. I'm sitting here crying just thinking about it. We have come so far since then and in a short amount of time. Who knows what might have happened, had it not happened as it did and we were blessed by that man.

We try to do good and pass it on by helping others. But then again, we've always been like that. We always try to help others in need. It feels so strange not to. We don't do it to get anything in return, we just do it b/c it makes us feel good.

Thank you everyone for sharing your stories!!

Well my story is a little over a year ago, my 3 daughter's were going to a Christian Day Care Center that was at the church we attended. I had been struggling since I had just started a new job and commission was on the slow side. I got my weekly day care bill and it said I was +$300.00 And I thought it was a mistake so I asked the secretary. She told me some man had came in, handed her 3 - $100 bills and told her to apply it to my account. She said she didn't know who it was and he didn't leave a name. Still to this day I think that it was her and her husband that donated the money.... From the result of that, I was able to put the "daycare" money away each week and save it for Christmas.

The daycare closed down though. :(

WOWwhat a great story. I have a few stories similar myself. I'm glad you posted this because tonight I had a streak of bad luck...I actually lost $20. I was afraid to tell my husband but when I did he said he felt like somebody out there probably needed it worse than we did and he hoped they found it. Well I tell you I myself was still not too thrilled with myself for losing money until I come home and read your post and then get to thinking of all the wonderful "gifts" we have received including the day I found a $20 and a $5 flying across an empty parking lot.

GOD IS GREAT stories like this remind me of just that indeed.
