Holiday Wish List Contest - A Chance to win a Nintendo Wii starting tomorrow!!!!

While Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year (who can resist free candy???), I also love giving. Our board is so generous as evidenced by contributing to auctions to help members, and now with adopting families for the holidays.

Heidi and I have been lucky enough to have such great members contribute to both this site and our new site, Organic Grocery Deals, that we'd like to host a fun holiday content which if you participate, everyone's going to get a little something and one of you will have a chance to win a Nintendo Wii game box.

Here's the deal....

Tomorrow, I will post the Holiday Wish List RAOK thread. If you enter in that thread, you will need to send a RAOK to the person who posts a Wish List before you.

So, as an example:

I post the first thread
Member 1 posts a mini-wishlist
Member 2 posts a mini-wishlist

Member 2 needs to contact member 1 to get an addy to try and fill as much as they can from the wishlist, but then send a nice RAOK to the person above them. The last person who posts before the close of the contest - their wishlist will be filled by the first member.

When you send, please update your own OP and say that you sent. When you receive, please post that it's received. Only posters with confirmed RAOKs will be eligible to be in the drawing. The goal is that everyone gets an envelope with this contest! While it's not a secret pal thing, if you're inclined to send anything else to the person above you, you can feel free to do so as well.

The contest will end to post a wishlist on December 7th. All RAOKS must be posted as received by Friday December 14th so we can draw and mail the Wii on December 15th so our winner can get it before Christmas.

Please post questions about the contest in this thread - and save the other thread for posting your wishlists so we can have a clear chain of who is sending to whom.

We're excited to be able to offer this contest as part of November being Coupon Karma Month (as was posted in the Newsletter).

Nothing to really add, just want to make sure that people edit thier posts to confirm that they SENT a RAOK and when they have RECEIVED a RAOK.

When sending your RAOK you should really make sure to put your HCW username on or in the envelope as well as notate that it is for the HCW Holiday Wish List Contest. Just jot that info on a slip of paper and put it in your envelope.

Ok, Heidi and I settled on THREE enteries per person, but they have to be different people and you have to get your first one settled first, then you can hop back in and do another, so RAOK early and quickly!
