This is the one that my 3yo & &yo helped me with. We picked one that came with "warts." Then, I accidentally broke the stem off and first thing I thought of was a nose. So between warts & nose, this is what we came up with:

This is the one that Michael and I did tonight. Not nearly as fancy as some of the others here (WOW!!) but we enjoy it.

This year we got 5 pumpkins instead of 7 as the store was getting pretty slim pickings and I could not find 2 more that were not deformed.

Last night I was sick and sleeping away on the couch and so my DH and the two older girls did the pumpkins. Obviously I can not win my own contest but still wanted to share.

And it looks like the date on my camera has ONCE AGAIN gotten messed up. These were taken last night not on 1/1/05

Ok folks, first I want to say thank you to everyone that too a snapshot of their pumpkins and entered our contest. I must admit we had a hard time choosing just 3 winners as they were all great! But my kids have narrowed it down.

First place winner is Brea, for her redition of Snow White. I must admit we have 3 girls and 2 boys and the girls overuled and loved Snow White!

In second place for spooky halloween fun, the prize goes to mworkman, for the scary Halloween tree, complete with owls!

Our 3rd place winner is ArmyOfFive, for her kids use of color and creativness in using the stems for witches noses. My 3 youngest loved them! And we know these were done by kids and that is what it is all about!

I will PM the winners right now for addresses and choice of prize (either Amazon or Starbucks gift cards)

This was fun, I am sure we will do it again next year!
