Harris Teeter's Coupon Policy Will Be Enforced as WRITTEN - Please read

I know I'm not very happy about some of the new rules BUT I HAVE TO ENFORCE THE POLICIES AS WRITTEN! If your area or particular store will allow you to bend the rules that is fine BUT PLEASE DO NOT POST ABOUT IT ON HCW.

Please note I can no longer allow posts about 2 coupons on BOGO sales, using Target or FLIP coupons, or anything else that goes agianst the new policy. Please read below and PM me with any questions or concerns.

Harris Teeter Coupon Acceptance Policy


General

• We accept coupons that have not passed their expiration date for use; we can not accept any expired coupons.
• We accept only one manufacturer coupon per purchased item.
• We do not accept coupons on items not purchased.
• Coupons must be presented at time of purchase; we can not return money for coupons not used.
• Coupons presented and items purchased must match exactly; size, variety, flavor, etc.
• We uphold any purchase stipulations set forth by product manufacturer.
• We accept only one coupon for Buy One Get one Free items.
• We accept coupons for items only of equal or more value; we do not give cash back.
• Sales tax is paid by customer at full retail.

Doubling

• We accept 20 double coupons per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded.
• We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.
• We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value.
• No internet coupons will be doubled or tripled. No competitor coupons will be doubled or tripled.

Internet Coupons

• We gladly accept internet manufacturer’s coupons for product; however no “free” product internet coupons are accepted.
• With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.
• We do not accept internet coupons that do not appear to be originals or that won’t scan.
• We gladly accept local competitors’ circular or direct-mail coupons; however we do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers.

Rainchecks

• Rainchecks never expire and are accepted at any Harris Teeter store.
• We do not issue rainchecks for coupon items that may be out of stock or for “while supplies last” items.
• We reserve the right to limit raincheck quantities based on product availability and advertised limits.

Scan Guarantee

• Our scan guarantee states “If an item scans higher than the shelf tag or sign, you will receive one like item free, excluding alcohol and tobacco.

Harris Teeter reserves the right to limit quantities in coupon usage, as well as products and to amend our policies as we deem appropriate.

Sorry if this is a silly question (brain not functioning properly due to being up half the night with a cranky baby! )......... what do they mean by 'coupon items' ?

I take that to mean that if they are out of an item during triples, they will give you a raincheck for the sale price, but not for the triple coupon piece of it. Or, if you've got a coupon expiring in a couple of days, again, you can get a raincheck for the sale price, but too bad on the coupon piece of it.

I like that one though....My Harris Teeter isn't that good about removing ALL The sales signs at the end of a sale.

I think it means that if they have coupons...kinda like Lowes Foods for a certain item in their weekly ad...no RC will be issued for those.
They don't do this that often...last time I remember seeing an in-ad coupon was for some Aleeve gel caps I think.

Okay if it is one coupon per BOGO I guess I will have to buy one BOGO item at a time since they charge half. Seems to me like they are creating more work for themselves.

I've got a question about this one. This sounds like I could use 2 IP on spaghetti sauce, 2 IP on cheese, 2 IP on crackers... and so on. Am I right? Or is it a total of 2 no matter what the products are? They'vre stopped me for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I was shocked as I use TONS of IP and never had any problems in the past. Thanks

I emailed corporate for clarification and yes you can use more than 2 IPs. So yes 2, IPs for pasta, 2 for spaghetti sauce, 2 for cheese etc

It sound Easy but I try watch and trust my cashier I hope My store goes easy it is alone store over here and has to compete with all the other store and a new super wm ! I will copy and keep this with me , The two IP for each item makes it easier last time they one only take to in total for me. I really do not understand If Instrest as RP goes internet only how will we uss their Coupons?
