Harris Teeter ~ Question: Thank You to HT

Has anyone ever sent a Thank You card or the like to your HT just to let them know how awesome you think they are? I wanted to send a Christmas card to my home store but it slipped my mind (whoops!) and now I am thinking about just sending them a "hey yall are great card" or emailing corp to let them know how great my homestore is. Just wondering if anyone else has done anything similar.

I'd email corporate and mention staff at your home store by name. They get rewarded for that.

Yes, exactly what she said! I've called before and stuck up for the staff at my HT when this horrible woman was yelling at them, she kept threatening to call and "get them all in trouble" when she was the one who was completely in the wrong (using wrong coupons) so I called and let them know that, if she called, she was lying - and I gave names of those who were being so nice and patient while she was showing out in the store!

I email corp with a thank you every holiday season for sponsoring the PTI (Pardon the Interruption) Thanksgiving feast on ESPN.

I emailed corporate to let them know how awesome my store is. I included the store number and offered reasons why HT gets the bulk of my shopping budget. In return, I got back a very nice email thanking me for taking the time out to let them know how pleased I was with my shopping experience, and the writer let me know they'd be sharing my email with their marketing and customer experience teams. So yes, it's a terrific idea and is a good way of encouraging HT to continue offering double coupon savings and holding coupon events.

I'm going to do the same. I love my store and because of their great customer service, sales, and couponing I shop there more than any other grocery store.

I email them and NAME names - of course MY FAVORITE CSM got promoted to another store!! I love my store!

At Christmas one of the cashiers was asking about all the baking supplies I was purchasing. I explained that I make a cookie box for all of my employees every year. Then the employees starting saying they wanted some. I took 2 large boxes of cookies to them right before Christmas. They were all very happy. Nice to do something for them since they are a great team.
