Thumbs Up Re: Harris Teeter Super Doubles - Post Your Trips

Okay, here's what I did . . . not saying these are necessarily the very best $$ deals, but they were what was best for my family . . .

Btw, my Smart Balance milk coupon (yes, I only had one), did not fully double for some reason and it had to be fixed by hand. Also, the ZVR system was down at my store this morning. I have to return with my printed list of downloaded ZVRs to get the $12 I have coming.

    Anyway . . .

    1 Smart Balance Milk: 2/$3 - $1.50/1 = FREE
    1 Smart Balance Peanut Butter: $2.50 - $1/1 (any SB product) = .50
    2 Health Valley Chili: $2.50ea - 2 $1/1 = .50ea
    2 Bounce Dryer Sheets: 2.75ea - $1.50/2 - $1 ZVR = .75ea
    1 Snackwell chocolate pretzels: 2.99 - $1/1 = .99
    10 Chef Boyardee: $10 - 2 $1/5 = $6/10
    6 Nissin Big Cup Noodles: $6 - 2 $1/3 = $2/6
    1 Nature Made B-12: 3.99 - $1/1 = $1.99
    1 Nature Made magnesium: 2.29 - $1/mineral = .29
    - 5.00 ZVR = $2.72MM
    1 Tampax Pearl 18ct: 3.99 - $2/1 - $2/1 ZVR = .01MM
    2 Pantene Shampoos: 7.00 - $3/2 - $3/2 ZVR = .50ea
    1 Oral B picks: 2.99 - $1/1 - $1 ZVR = .01 MM
    4 Sargento shredded cheese: 8.00 - 2 $1/2 = 1.00ea
    1 Chobani yogurt: 1.00 - .30/1 = .40

    OOP = $14.78

    I'm happy.

    Worst. SD. Ever.
I didn't get enough sleep last night, because I got up early to get my Smart Balance milk.
But somehow, by the time I was ready to check out, my 3 coupons were gone!
Retraced my steps, nowhere to be found.
I bought the milk anyway, thinking I'd find them in the van or the house, but never did.

My Muir Glen IP wouldn't scan.

The Target coupon for Bagel Bites is a store coupon. Why did I think it was a mfr? So no free Bagel Bites.

My zvr for Bounty and Tampax didn't come off.

I only used 10 coupons! This is unheard of for me. Every other event I've had to choose carefully which 20 to use on the first day - This time the deals just aren't there.

Sorry about the negativity - maybe I can get a nap today... (not)

Lost milk coupons? Big, big bummer.

I would take a nap, too.

    I agree about this SDs being a tough slog . . .

I usually use all 20 coupons every day through at least the weekend. Today, the first day, I only used 18 of the 20 . . .

I'm going to keep diggng, because I have the time, and we could really use the stuff.

Pretty happy overall. The Smart Balance Milk was wiped out and so was the AllWhites. So bummed about those. But I did have a hard time using all 20 coupons today. The BC pototoes were a filler- did not want to waste any coupons!!

I couldn't wake up this morning so I didn't make it to HT until 8:15 this morning and of course the SB milk I like was all gone (oh well). I wasn't too excited but got a few things.

    5 Lean Cuisine ($1/2, $1/3 zvr)
1 Bag of Tyson Patties ($1/1)
    2 Poms ($1/1 x 2)

    5 ECB bucks

    $6.55 OOP

Looking at the other shopping trips I think I may go back later and grab 2 Pantene, Tampax Pearls, and some Nivea Lip balm (if there will be any left).
