Friday e-vic specials - must buy xx to get special price???

Is this new? In the Friday e-vic special now it says, for example, Harris Teeter eggs $1.97, limit 2. And then the fine print says "Must buy 2 in the same transaction to get the e-vic price."

Since when??? There have been lots of times in the past that I have purchased only one of the e-vic special when it said limit (however many) and still gotten the special price.

If they are making you purchase the upper limit in order to get the special price... well... that kind of sucks! Has that language always been in the fine print??

I didn't get my email yet, but no, you don't have to buy them both. If you only buy one, you will get the e-Vic price, but then you can't buy the other one. They both have to be purchased in the same transaction in order to get the price.
(hope that's a big pack of eggs...)

Seriously, $1.97 better be for the 18 ct eggs And since I need eggs, I hope my email (if and when I get it - some weeks it never shows up) includes a good deal on eggs.

Yep, it's 18 count. I just got the email (earlier than usual)

You don't have to buy all of the items in the quantity that is allowed, but you must buy all of them in the same transaction if you do want the evic price on each of them. HTH.

So you're saying that I CAN buy only one at the e-vic price but then three days later I can't go back and buy another at the e-vic price? I can either get the limit (2) in the same transaction at the e-vic price or I can get just one, but once I 'do' it at the special price once, it's over.
