All You Magazine question

I know many prob use/read this magazine as see it in the teeter threads for coupons and just got a subscription to the magazine, but really dissapointed in this month's issue. After 2 months of good coupons, $30 of the $50 in coupns for a safe? and alot of the big companies put ad's but no coupons in the magazine.Had noticed that last month also.

So wondering if this is a shift by companies( maybe a push back from "that show"?), or just end of the year companies not doing coupon's?.. If anyone is a long time subscriber to the magazine, can they tell me if this is "normal" to have alot less coupons in the end of year issue? or is this a trend in the magazine and maybe not worth it for coupons anymore?though still has some good articles and thoughts in the Magazine

any input would be appreciated.

I would not say this is a trend.

The Jan 2011 issue had over 40 coupons in it

The Dec 2010 issue also had over 40 coupons in it

Both seemed to be nice high value coupons.

I am not sure what is going on with All You mag right now.


BTW you can look up expired coupons in the coupon database, that is how I just looked to see how many coupons were in those past issues. We have coupon information going back since 2006 :)

normal for end of year issues don't they do a issue with freezer food in feb mar issue?

My subscription to All You expired last month. I haven't renewed it, and probably won't unless I find a really killer deal for it. I've noticed that I really haven't used the coupons in it as much in the last 5-6 months as I did in the past. I use maybe 2-3 coupons from each issue, and so far I haven't missed not having the december issue at all.

I think some of that may have to do with the fact that I am couponing a bit less than I have in the past too, but other people have also told me that they find the magazine less useful than before. I certainly don't think it's worth paying cover price at walmart, but for less than $1/issue it might still be useful.
