A reminder to check your receipts

I'm sure everyone carefully watches how things ring up anyway, but just a reminder to do this. Yesterday on day 1 of SD's, my meal deal did NOT come off. I had to go to CS to get this fixed. Of course they went over everything with a fine tooth comb, hoping to see that I had bought the wrong items (I didn't). Then today, at another HT, they only scanned (4) of my (6) HT $2 store coupons for discounted meat.

On the other hand, a caught an AMAZING (and I'm sure, incorrect!) deal at my HT yesterday.. My friend and I scored on buying a 36 ct variety pack of Keurig K cups. They were marked $7.99! Today I saw this same item at a different HT for $22.99.

Now if only I could get my hands on more of Smart Balance milk....

this is the exact reason why I go to uscan so I can watch how everything scans and my coupons closely.

My HT does not allow you to scan your own coupons at the Uscan. You have to hand them over to whomever is at the podium, and then they begin scanning immediately. By the time I get back to my Uscan screen, I've missed most of them. So no Uscan for me.

Come to think of it, my meal deal did not come off, either, but the cashier caught it herself and rectified it. I forgot all about that. I was still bleary eyed.

I was charged twice for the Febreze candle. I wanted one since I had a $2 off coupon from both EVIC and MFR. But the second candle had no coupons...went right back there to get my money back!

they zero'd it all out and did the meal deal at customer service and STILL did it wrong 2nd time!.. seems it s the pelligrino water that screwed it up.. took off everything but that
