Funstuff For Fun- What is your plan of attack!

Do you plan to get 6-7 items (3 of each- max of 3 doubled Q's)
or do yo plan on getting 20 single items?

What do you go for first? What do you go for last?

How many back-up items do you list out?

Do you scan your store card at the beginning or wait until the end- more dramatic to wait- hehehe.

Do you even have a plan- or just wonder around the store and pick up random deals as they pop up?

I am planning on getting a bunch of single items- except the milk.
Hoping to snag 3 milks and then 17 other single items. Seems more fun that way

I usually save frozen and dairy for last- since it takes me a long time to look around- but my more "wanted" items are frozen and dairy. Not sure what to do. Just speed shop I guess

I usually have at least 10 back up items.

I like my store card to scan at the very beginning. Makes it easier to see if the items scan at right price.

For the first trip or two for SD I usually have a list and game plan. The other days (or regular shopping trips) I usually have 1-3 items that are have to get, then the rest is just me walking up and down isles looking for random deals

I can usually find all I want if I get there by 8:30 or 9, so that's when I'll show up. Fortunately I don't have the craziness in my stores that other people describe. There's not likely to be anyone lined up at the registers at 7:00am. Or maybe they do, and I just don't know because I'm never there?
But if they are, they aren't getting the things I'm looking for.
I get 3 at a time of things I have insert coupons for because I get 3 papers and that's all I ever have. 2 at a time if they are IPs.
If the deal isn't quite as good, I'll get 1 or 2.

milk first, then creamers, then double back across the store for hunts tomatoes, and fill in the rest with whatever is left.

LOL. I'm not organized to have a plan of attack. I plan to throw some coupons in a ziploc tonight and carry them with me to the store. Seriously, that's my plan. Pretty pitiful, isn't it?

I have to leave my house at 7:15 to drop kids off at school get back home at 8:00, have to leave the house by 8:30 at the latest to be in Lincolnton at 9:00 for Jury duty....I am not sure I can make it in the morning...not sure if it is even worth it when I can make it afterwards. There is a HT in Lincolnton, but that store is NOT friendly and I don't need to deal with that with the mood I have been in lately.

I probably won't be going until later in the week so then it is a matter of just getting what they have in stock, though I don't see a whole lot that I want....

Great I just found out I have to be there at 8:30am...now I really can't shop tomorrow morning even if I needed too!

i pull the "good deals" and put them in the front of my binder and go from there. usually I hit my 20 each day. not too worried if something is out on the first day - I usually find it by the 4th day restocked. I just grab my MP3 player and have fun shopping!

(MP3 player also keeps people from wanting to tell you all about extreme couponing show and wanting couponing lessons in the aisle . . because obviously I have all the time in the world since I had time to cut all those coupons and file them )

So if you see a lady dancing down the aisle in WS, say "hi" to me - and yes, I DO answer to Mystic Wench!

I have a list typed up that looks something like this for each item that totals 20 coupons doubled

    3(3) Smart Balance Milk
    1(1) Febreze Set & Refresh
    2(2) Smuckers Snack n' Waffles ($2) RC
    2(4) Bumble Bee Tuna packets
    1(2) Ortega Salsa ($2)

If there is no $ figure behind the item, it means it's free after coupons

My list is in my hand, the coupons in an envelope in my purse. When I'm done with my list (my list also has a full master list of what I hope to get that week), I 'pull over' out of the way somewhere, pull my coupons and then hit the register to check out, RC's on the top, any coupons that they need to write a price on under those and then the rest of the coupons.

    In/out/done.
