Only 20 double PER day. But say you have 5 $1 off coupons you SHOULD be able to use all 5 in one transaction as along as super doubles is not going on.
No the vic card does not keep track, except for the 20 per day. That is one reason why the cashier told me, 3 like coupons per visit. I wanted to go out, and back in, and use the other couple coupons.

But, I went to CS first.

I thought the 3 like limit was during SD's or triples.

They said no, it was 3 like per day, and if you were seen coming in the store again, you could not use like coupons, #4 and #5.

Looking at the HT coupon policy it does say 3 like coupons per day.

But only the cashier-CS can limit it to 3, unless you have 21 like coupons, and then the scanner will catch #21.
Otherwise the 20 per day limit is in effect, and it is up to the cashier to make the decision. Scan 5, or just scan 3 and give the other 2 back to the customer.

The register DOES know when there have been 3 like coupons attached to 3 identical items. If will only double the first 3, and then the other ones will go through at face value.
It used to be that as long as you had different varieties/flavors, you could use more than 3 like coupons. The wording of the policy allowed it, and the register would continue to double them as long as there weren't more than 3 identical.
Now the policy has been re-written, and you can no longer do that. I'm not sure if the registers have been re-programmed or not.

Two stores, neither has re-programmed their registers.

At store #1, the CS said that the cashier was the person-entity that decides how many like coupons are scanned.

At store #2, a customer used 4 like coupons on the same visit earlier this week. I was behind them at checkout.

(you can pick up some tips by watching other coupon users and their good or bad habits)

won't that be a very, very, minor issue on B1G1 free sales?

I sure wish HT corporate would change the 3 to 4.
Any of you, know any big wheels at HT?

Two B1G1 deals, is 4 items.

Yes, the B1G1 with two deals would be 4 items, however, you can buy three and still get the half off on the third since they ring up half off

In fact, on B1G1 rain checks I always ask for 3 under quantity because I know I can only double three like coupons - no sense in asking for more. And if I want more, I get another rain check another day, for three more

Coupons are found money - who walks by money on the ground??
