Not to kill the thread but I just don't buy store stock/broth and if I have to I only buy Kitchen Basics brand (the lowest sodium content). The other stuff just has too much sodium in it.

I agree, I make my own. I had given away the broth coupons...beef is a bit more labor intensive plus expensive, so I got the beef thinking I would use it in beef stew. With all those chickens I got a few weeks ago I have enough to do gallons of stock!
Most canned stuff has a ton of sodium in it.
I think I just read a couple of days ago about the Kitchen Basics being low sodium, but I can't remember where I read that.

I don't have any right now (I do need some beef though). But I believe it's less than 200mg of sodium. I'll be running to the stores tommorrow though after DS's school event so I'll let you know. I've got to make some beef stew since I'm craving it-lol!
