I bought 2 of the soft soap today...
    First one I paid -$.36
    Second one $1.49
Looking harder at my receipt neither of my coupons doubled and my second onr actually needed an over ride from a grumpy white shirt er...blue shirt.

They both were free since 1.49-.36-.70-.70 equals they paid me to take it!

    That's how mine rang up.
Neither of my coupons beeped, but they only doubled to .21 (.56 total) meaning I paid a penny for both bottles.

I didn't get any chicken this week - looked at the price for a whole chicken, and they ranged anywhere from 4.50 -6.00 or so. Since I can get a rotisserie chickens for 3.99 when they discount them, I figure that's actually a better deal!

Really? I think the most I paid was $3.01 (5#) and I got the biggest I could get. You must have some huge chickens over there. Are you sure that were marked with the sale price?

Well now that I'm thinking about it, that doesn't make sense, does it?
They just looked like regular hens. I'll have to look again when I go back.

I beat the daylights out of the whole chicken thing this week

Bought 8 over the course of the week, cooked 6 back to back to back (well, you get the idea) in the crockpot. Picked off the meat, vacuum sealed it individually per chicken, made the broth and tossed in the pickins' from the rest of the chicken and vacuum sealed that for future soup base to add veggies and pasta or rice to. Whew! Took me three days of cooking/processing but now I still have room in the freezer for when the frozen turkey breast sales show up!

I too struggled to find larger chickens, the largest was $3.12, but most were $2.95-$3.00 each.

I think I bought 5 but I already had 3 in my freezer. I have no more room in my freezer for ANYTHING. I had to stop buying them. I need a bigger freezer I am into bulk baking/bulk prepping right now. I have gotten about 8 lbs of bananas, 2 lbs of peppers, plus some big.bags of fruit this past weekend and it all went into the freezer. I got into canning to try and cut back on freezing but there is so much I don't like canned (stocks, spaghetti sauce) and I have to freeze it.
