I love your store. Please please please promise that you won't cave in and be represented on that ridiculous show "Extreme Couponers", or if you do, you will make the show participants follow the same coupon policy we all have to follow. So far you are the only NC store with any integrity left and I think your loyal fans would all be crushed if that changed.
This is true but I think that TLC is encouraging bad behavior that does a disservice to everyone who coupons. I honestly believe that a lot of the rudeness and problems we're seeing at the stores can be laid directly at the feet of TLC's show. The woman who thinks it's okay to clear a shelf...I mean, really? Entitlement issues, much?![]()
I don't think the OP's comment advertises anything except the fact that HT has loyal customers who don't mind playing within the rules of the policy. I don't think it draws unwanted attention at all.
They want us to come in for the good deals. Otherwise they wouldn't offer any. Most people make it very worth while for HT to have good promos - as we saw in the latest quarterly profits report. They know those profits come in spite of the more enthusiastic couponers (like me... most of the time) who "skim off the top".
It all works out for them in the end - the proof is in the pudding.
LF hasn't been as successful at this. For some reason they thought they had to resort to a stupid, unrealistic, quack coupon show to get attention.
Actually I kinda wish they would but don't break their rules. Show what a normal couponer does at a harris teeter coupon even 20 doubled coupons per day have them go back each day per week. its lowes fault they shouldn't broken their own rules.
