Hot Button Skippy peanut butter MM!!!

Hey, everybody - fyi I just went to HT to buy my free skippy PB's (price at my HT is $1.24) and my 0.75/1 mq's doubled to $1.50 . . .so I got $0.26 overage on each jar. I bought the Natural Creamy variety. I hope others get the same overage!
    Good luck!

Lucky you! my price is 1.49, so free but not significant overage.
It's that funny BOGO thing at HT. The register reads the price differently, matching the coupon against the regular price, instead of the sale price.
    Thanks for pointing it out!

It's always been, at least at my HT's, that if your coupon, doubled would exceed the price of the item, the coupon is automatically adjusted down to match to get free, but no overage. The only overage I get is if there is a ZVR coupon that is deducted too.

clippy, don't feel bad, our BOGO price is $1.49 here in Raleigh area as well.

But I will certainly enjoy FREEEEEEEEE

It's different with the BOGO sales - try it and see if it doesn't give the full .75 multiplied.
for us Raleighites it should give a penny overage.

I will look! Always noticed the adjusted values before, but then again, perhaps the BOGO is different and I never knew (wouldn't be the first time I missed the BIG RED SIGN )

You are welcome - and thanks to you for teaching me a new HT q factoid! I had no idea about the "funny BOGO thing at HT," but now I do! It never ceases to amaze me that no matter how much i think i know re: coupons that almost EVERY checkout I am surprised at the outcome. LOL it is something else, isn't it?! Have a good one!

I got 3 Skippy. My receipt states price you pay for 3 = $4.48. My first two coupons doubled to $1.50 and my third to $1.48.

I believe its the "funny bogo thing" that caused the issues with the LA Looks items during SD.
