You can buy 1 at that price- but can not go back later and buy the second.
If you want them both at that price it has to be done at the same time.
OK, so I am sure you are all familiar with the Evic emails we typically get on Fridays that feature Evic specials that are only good for Saturday-Tuesday, and some are just for Saturday, etc (or just for Sunday like this past week). The specials always have a quantity limit specified for each. Anyway - I have noticed that the wording on these specials' limits have changed recently. Take the Sunday Tropicana OJ special for example. . .Evic price of $1.97, "Limit 2 per household" then in VERY fine print "Both items must be purchased in one transaction to recieve specieal Evic price." My question is this - has anyone done a transaction where you bought less than the "Limit" specified on a special like this? And if so, did you recieve the special Evic price? It used to be that a special like this Tropicana one from Sunday would specify "Limit 2 per household. You must present Evic card at time of purchase." And we could buy 1 Tropicana and recieve the special Evic price. If HT is really not giving the special Evic price UNLESS we buy 2 then I feel like that wording is very misleading. It should read "Sunday August 21st Only - 59oz Tropicana $1.97 WHEN YOU BUY 2. Limit 2 per household." I am also wondering if anyone else noticed this or accidentally bought less than the "Limit," which quite possibly is actually more of a "requirement?" TIA

I did this with the greek yogurt special. Bought 6 and then went later and bought 4 more thinking that I was getting the same deal. But after reviewing my receipt just now I relized that only those first 6 rang up at the evic price![]()
Interesting! Are you writing this from experience or were you told this or what? Buying 1 and getting the Evic special price doesn't match up with the fine print of "must purchase both (or whatever the case may be) items in one transaction to receive special price," but I guess I can translate what HT is trying to communicate . . ."If you want this special Evic price you have 1 transaction in which to complete it . . .and you may buy up to 2 of these items in that transaction (if said limit is 2)." Thank you so much for your insight!

Hello from Charleston, SC!!
6 oz yopliat greek yogurts $0.77.
Limit 10 per household
"all items must be purchased in one transaction to recieve specieal Evic price "
the first 6 I bought were $0.77. The next day I went and got 4 more (thought I was still in my limit 10 range) and they rang up as $1.25.
I am new to HT so still learning the ropes![]()

It has been my understanding that "both items must be purchased in the same transaction" is really meant only for BOGO evic specials.
I have done the buy one, specifically on the OJ this past weekend...I got the price on the one you do not have to buy both to receive the price.

I just made this mistake on the Yoplait greek yogurt as well. I bought the 4 they had and then grabbed the remaining 6 the next day. No good.
They were nice enough to make the adjustment for me THIS time.
I had never noticed that in the text before.
