So, I've never had a deal like this before... anyone know the answer?
I have booklet q's for Kashi cereal and bars $1/1. If I buy three cereals and one bar, can I use three cereal $1/1 q's and one bars $1/1 q (even though the bars are "free") and will they all double to $2?
Because then, if I buy three cereals at $3/ea, -$1/1/ea (doubled) = $3 total, if I can use a $1/1 on the bars, and it doubles, it would make my total $1 for three boxes of Kashi cereal and one box of bars, which is a really darn good deal.

I would say that there's nothing specific in the coupon policy to forbid that, but that the coupon will beep because the price of your 4th kashi item is $0. It will probably require arguing your case with the cashier/manager, so YMMV depending on how nice your store is.

Did it today and for whatever reason, the kashi bars freebie did not come off at all, so coupons went through fine.
Asked CS afterward, and they reimbursed me the 2.99 for the bars (ours are 2.99, not 1.99)
