Thumbs Up Back to School, Back to Savings-P&G promo

I got a CAT last week advertising a P&G promo at HT: buy $30 worth in a single transaction, get back a $10 prepaid mastercard.

    The small print reads:
Mail-in offer. Must be postmarked by 8/21/11 and received by 9/4/11. Cards issued by CitiBank, etc. Cards will not have cash access and can be used anywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted.

That's it. No details about when the promo is running or anything. I know LF is running the same promo this week, but I have to imagine that the deals may be better at HT with the ZVRs available. Has anyone else heard about this? Maybe it'll be advertised in next week's ad? That would be pretty sweet with SDs + ZVR.

If you go to the Harris Teeter website, under the promotions tab, click on group offers. It will bring up a flyer with the P&G products on sale this week and the manufacturer's coupons you can pair with the products. It has some info about the promotion.

I did this deal yesterday and with the evic coupons and manufacturer's coupons, I only spent about $6.50 oop. The catalina form didn't print, though. I wasn't sure if it was $30 before or after coupons. I went to customer service to ask and no one knew anything about it. It wasn't in the ad either. She asked 4 different people, manager included, and no one knew anything. I brought the promo from the website up on my phone and showed them so they just gave me a $10 gift certificate.

I did see on another site that you can just mail in your receipt with your name, address, telephone number and email address and don't need the form. Mail it to

    It does, help, thanks :)

It looks like it runs into next week, so I'll have to compare this week's sales with probable super doubles next week. Better if the sales continue.

Here's what I did. All of my e-vic coupons worked this time (I was surprised because sometimes they don't work) and none of the coupons beeped...YAY! The only glitch was the rebate form not printing out...

Gillette body wash - on sale for $2.99
    $2 e-vic Q
    $2 manufacturer Q
    cost: $1.01 MM

Oral B Glide Floss - on sale for $2.99
    $.75 e-vic Q
    $1.00 Q coupon
    cost: $1.24 (I got the $1 Q in Sunday's paper, not the $.75 one)

    Crest Pro-Health 33.8 oz -- on sale for $4.49
    $2 e-vic Q
    $2 manufacturer Q
    cost: $.49

Crest Pr-Health Enamel Toothpaste -- on sale for $2.49
    $.75 e-vic Q
    $1.00 manufacturer Q
    cost $.74

Gillette Clinical Strength Deodorant -- on sale for $5.99
    $2 e-vic Q
    $3 manufacturer Q
    cost: $.99

Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide Razor - on sale for $8.99
    $2.00 e-vic Q
    $4.00 manufacturer Q
    $2.99

Oral B Cross Action Toothbrush -- on sale for $2.99
    $.75 e-vic Q
    $1.00 manufacturer Q
    cost $1.24

Total was $30.93, I paid $6.68 and got a $10 gift certificate since the form didn't print out. I think all of these coupons came out of the Sunday insert.

If you have the $.75 Crest toothpaste and Oral B floss coupons, your OOP will be even less. I also found out after I'd already shopped that Dawn Ultra Plus Dishwashing Liquid - Lemon Citrus is on sale for $1.74 (at my store in Virginia). There was a $.20 coupon in Sunday's paper and a $.50 evic coupon -- so it would only cost $.84.

I'm sure there are other deals, but that's what I did. HTH...

I spent a bit more OOP.

    I got:

    (2) Pampers EVIC $5.99 less $2 cpn
    (1) Pampers Wipes $3.29 less $2 diaper and wipes coupon
    (1) Crest $2.49 less $0.75 doubled, less $0.75 ZVR
    (1) Pantene Shampoo - Free coupon from Facebook promo
    (1) Herbal Essences - Free coupons from Facebook promo
    (1) Duracell AA 8 pack - $5.99 less $2 EVIC, less $0.75 doubled, less $0.75 ZVR

    So I paid $13.xx less $10 rebate = $3.xx Not too shabby!

Nope. I didnt print out when they had a similar promo earlier this year. I sent my receipt and a note with my details and received my rebate.
