DD3 What were your Friday Evic specials?

    I got mine...

Im liking the egglands best I just got 2 $.50/1 coupons from their facebook promo...Maybe the melons (though I hate cantaloupe hubby likes it). Maybe the red potatoes, though we don't eat potatoes if I don't buy them (I mean DUH!)-we don't miss them if I don't buy them- is probably a better statement. The rest I won't bother with...organic mac n cheese, that is a funny one.

Instead of the HT Organic Mac & Cheese Cup and HT Red Potatoes -- I got Starbucks Coffee 12oz $5.99 (limit 2) and Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing or Dip Mix $.99 (limit 4)

Will get (1) Cantaloupe tomorrow & pass on all the rest

Really? A FB coupon? I missed it! Boo.
I guess I'll have to settle for .88 eggs with my .35/1. That still makes me happy!
Otherwise, I guess maybe the cantaloup. My family used to eat them up, but lately they've let some go to waste. Those are cheap though, and they're the Atheno ones which are big, but not always the sweetest IMO.

Well, I won't be buying them then. Unless they are fully ripe and sweet he won't really eat them. I am sick of buying produce from the grocery store and it is either almost rotted inside (that would be the honeydew I bought at LF 2 weeks ago) or them be TASTELESS like the majority of the fruits (peaches + plums are the worst) I have gotten the past few years. We aren't huge produce eaters here...Maybe that is part of the reason.

The way to test for a perfect canteloupe is to press both ends, if they give slightly, it's perfect. If they don't give at all, too hard and unripe. If they have ANY soft spots on the exterior, they're past ripe.

I got the egglands deal, oreo cookies deal, red potatoes deal (yes!!!)

I got free Gerber baby food; egglands; cantaloupe.

I usually let the cantaloupe sits at my kitchen counter for 2-3 of days before cutting & serving it. Usually it will taste good.

I didn't get the eggsor degree, although I certainly don't need them. not sure why I got the allergy med one, guess when I bought the allegra a while back, that must have triggered it. I may get the oreos, potatoes and canteloupe. these are just the ones that I got that were different
