I had to keep myself awake as I read through it. Sigh.

I would love .87 for 32 oz of long grain rice, but my EL shows:
    16oz as .87 (regular price)
    32oz is 1.17 (regular price)

So I don't know what's up with that.

    Thanks for posting $Saving!

It is a 'slow' ad for sure Clippy. Not much impressed me. A couple items but nothing I feel compelled to rush to the store for.

Have you noticed that they are pushing more and more of their own store brand items?

I had read on an industry website that stores are leaning toward doing that to 'hold the line' on price increases because of name brands going up so much.

    Seems to be true

Yes, I have heard mention of that. It's unsettling to think of all the changes ahead. Hope some at least are good!

I do need milk this week, so I'll get my 2 gallons.

The most terrible thing would be if they would do SD next week. Even worse if it were a rare triples... I'm gone Thursday through Monday. But that almost guarantees it I guess LOL.

No! Too soon for another coupon event! I've been 'clocking' them at 5 weeks for a while now, that seems to be the norm, so hopefully you'll be back in the saddle for the next one

With this wicked heat, I don't even know that I would rush if there were a coupon event. I'm ready to stay inside until this nastiness passes, if it ever does

If you use last year as a guideline - SDs were 8/11-17 (2010)

With the weeks rolling as they do, and the trend to do coupon events every 5 weeks (rare they cycle on 4 weeks or 6 weeks), the next event should be July 27th or Aug 3rd.

I was actually thinking some of the deals look so bad this week that they could be misprints. I'm not sure $3 for a gallon of milk is worth a limited e-vic special. And $1 for a single cup of (non-Greek) yogurt? Boo.

I might pick up some suddenly salad and some of the pictsweet veggies...we'll see what the Friday specials are.
