The receipt doesn't normally reflect the coupon price in what you paid, just the sale prices.

Ok I went to Harris Teeter this morning and feel that I spent more oop than needed, so someone please help a novice.
I got 4 Hefty Freezer Bags which according to EL are 1.44 BOGO. I had a q for $1/2 so that should have made them .88. On my receipt it says price you pay for 2 2.89, for both pairs that I bought making my total 3.78 with the q.
Also with the Kraft dressing I bought the receipt says price you pay for 2 2.99 for each pair that I bought meaning I spent 3.98.
Am I reading the receipt wrong, is my math wrong, or do I need to take another trip to HT.
Thanks in advance.![]()

Were there discounts on the bottom of the receipt? Sometimes the sale is taken off at the end just above the coupons.
I also have a question. I know it is limit 20 super doubles, but can I also do 20 regular doubles on the same transaction?
Thanks!

I went back to the store and got my answer. I guess it was too early in the morning for me to be doing math.
Thanks everyone who responded.

if all you bought was the Hefty and the Kraft it will be easier to isolate the math?
is that all you bought?
what is EL?
how many Kraft did you get? The above does not say.
one pair or two pair?
please post the regular price of each item.
and post the sale price of each items,
and post what coupons you had.
the above is missing required numbers to do the math.
[QUOTE=cpnmaniac44;2968289] No that wasn't all I bought and EL is express lane. It was just I thought that when something is BOGO and it says that the item rings at half price, that that is the price that I would pay for two items.
For example the Kraft dressing is regularly priced $2.99. The express lane said the dressing is $1.49 BOGO. So I figured the price I would pay for 2 sets of dressing (4 bottles) would be $2.98- $1/2 q= .98. Because I am purchasing 2 and getting 2 free.
But the manager said that the price is $2.99 BOGO, therefore those 4 bottles are $5.98- $1/2q= $3.98. She was really nice about it so I was not too stressed.
Hope I made myself clear.
I've never used the express lane unless you mean the "self checkout."
If the regular price is 2.99, then each one, on a B1G1 free sale would be 1.49 each.
If Express Lane is buying your items online before you go to the store, then I do not know that process.
On my receipt, what I actually paid is in bold black print, and above that for each item is the savings on the regular price.
Below that is the number of coupons and the doubling.
It sounds like the Express Lane was telling you the price AFTER the B1G1 free sale and that IS $1.49.
But, you got it straigtened out and HT CS is excellent in my area.
