I went on Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and today. I didnt use the max number of coupons allowed, I used less than 60. Im just not finding so many deals. HT is just so expensive that even with double coupons, I often can buy the item cheaper at SuperTarget. Im past the stage of buying items because its free. I want great prices on things we actually need/use.

My OOP for the week was $62 for atleast $250 worth (Im missing 2 receipts) of groceries. Saving 72% on things we need/use is great to me!
    2nd trip
smart balance milk (they need to come up with a chocolate flavored)
mystic pizzas (surprised to see a new variety - veggie)
    5 yellow bananas

I went everyday and used my coupon limit every day. I don't do that well at Target, but then again, we don't have a super target real close to me. I find that as long as I stick to the sale items and I have coupons, then no store can compare to Harris Teeter.... I stopped buying the free items just cause they are free about 6 months ago...well I will buy it if I happen to have the coupon but I won't go out of my way for it I can sell it at my yard sale or give it away to someone. I never seem to be able to go well at Target or Walmart every time I try and price compare it always seems high because I know the sale price for Harris Teeter for the stuff I want.
    I loaded up on
Yoplait yogurt (i bought a lot of yogurts 66 I think)
Friskies indoor canned food $.50 (i bought a lot of cat food 60+ cans)
    Dove Bars $2.00
    Degree deordorant $.50
    Secret Spray $.49
    Muellers (that was free)
    NY texas Toast $.50
    Temptations MM
Cooking Cream MM (only got it once though)
    Dole Peaches $1
    Snyders pretzels free
    Paprika free
Smart Balance Milk Free and $1
    Bailey's creamer free
    Purex Crystals $.74
    Furmano tomatoes $.43 each
    Hefty trash bags $1.97
Cheez Its $1.50 (I could probably have done better)

    I did spend $164.33
    I saved $569.30
    =77% saved

If you have the $1/1 Ben & Jerry's pint TP coupon (not sure of source, these were sent to me as extras in a trade), they are only .19 after the $1/1 doubled (on sale BOGO)

A few weeks ago there was an E-VIC for Huggies Jumbo packs $5.99. Not too long ago I had an E-VIC for Pampers Jumbo packs $5.99.

They have good sales on baby food too. If its on sale its cheaper than SuperTarget which brings me to:

I find that as long as I stick to the sale items and I have coupons, then no store can compare to Harris Teeter....
I agree. There are certain things I buy every week though thats not always on sale (school lunch box items, drink mixes, waffles etc). Good example - Tyson Bagged Chicken $6.55 at HT, $4.99 at SuperTarget. Even with $1 doubled Target is cheaper by $0.56, well actually $0.76 if I count 5% redcard discount.

Those were on sale for a month for $5.55 at HT I think (the week prior to them going to $5.55 they were $4.99 right before the penguin came out)...I got a bunch at LF last month they were $3.99 for several weeks :0) I don't think I have ever seen them that cheap. I got 6 bags of the patties. I know last year I had WM price match them for Target they were $4.99 at the time I think and at WM they were $5.99. I think in my case because I live so close to HT and mine isn't huge I get to go at the very least once a week and up and down every aisle to catch all these things. I also have about 50 rainchecks for when I need something and it is not on sale. Also if it isn't on sale and I don't have a coupon then it isn't purchased...but I have a huge stockpile so it isn't like my kids go hungry. If I am out of Cocoa Pebbles he can eat another one of the 50 boxes of cereal or Cheez its or nothing, ...
