This time I'll actually get spices that I need even if I have to pay for them.
I really don't need any more pepper or cinnamon or chili powder, but it's hard to pay, when you can make money on some of them!

The fine print states Perfect pinch, Grill Mates and Recipe Inspirations are NOT included.

Thought that is worth mentioning since there is a 75/1 perfect pinch coupon out today.

I got a bunch of chili powder last time...BUT I will say, I have actually used quite a bit...I made enchilada sauce and have made chili several times. I am glad I got it now. I think prior to this winter I had the same small bottle of it for 4 yrs past.

Yep I use alot of chili powder, cumin and vanilla extract. I guess I need to check the cabinets again to see what I need. I'm going to donate all my extra cinnamon this week. It is taking up too much space .

I missed that on my print out too, but I see it now and I will have to edit it on my other board.

I gave away a lot of cinammon but I do use quite a bit too...I still have a lot of vanilla extract, but I have started making my own now so I shouldn't have to buy it again (unless it is free of course and I have a coupon). Hubby does NOT like Cumin so if I use it I have to be very light with it.

Making your own that sounds interesting. I think I have 7 left but I use it alot in baking, making pancakes and such. I love Cumin in my chili beans. I've had people just rave about them.

I bought vanilla beans on ebay I got 10 for roughly $5 (much much cheaper than in any store around me)...Take 5 and slice them down the middle and scrap it out. Put it in a mason jar along with the pods then add vodka...Let it steep for several weeks (I have read 1 month to 6 months) shaking when you think of it. That is it, also when it is half empty you can add more vodka and do that twice. I paid $3.99 for a small bottle of vodka that fit perfectly in my pt mason jar. THose little 1 oz McCormick vanillas are just that, LITTLE and when I get on a baking frenzy (been doing the granola bars that take 1/2T) I seem to go through them fast. I have a bunch of rainchecks for the bogo vanilla...McCormick adds corn syrup to theirs if you read the ingredients.
