I used a $4 off any Tropicana product today in Charlotte without a problem. It was a glossy homemailer coupon I received after I had a problem with an OJ I purchased. The item I was purchasing was $4.39, so coupon value was less than the product price; not sure if that makes a difference.

I used 2 of those $3.99 of any New York Style product ips in Durham today without any problem. As pp said, my items were not quite free with the high value qs, if that makes a difference.

I used the $3/1 Glad Force Flex the other day and no problems at all.
What coupon were you using and did it beep? I also have used several $2.50 McCormick cats.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise . It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it.

Did you ask her to show you where it says that in the coupon policy? I always ask for evidence when I come across a cashier telling me a "new rule". Did you ask to speak to a manager? Was she talking about ALL coupons over $2 or only internet coupons? Was she just telling you this because a coupon over $2 beeped? that's a new one to me if that's what they are doing. Maybe she was told in a meeting that they do not double coupons over $2 and that's where she got confused. There's really so many possibilities here without knowing more details of why she told you this.

No, they just made that up. I would have asked them to show me where it says that on their coupon policy. It gets really irritating when some HT stores make up their own coupon policy.

Or when they misinterpret what they are told! Good to know the cashier was misinformed. Ive run into misinformed cashiers before. One told they dont accept over 20 coupons, I had to correct her that they only double up to 20 coupons per day and accept the rest at face value. Sounded like I was reading directly off their policy haha. but she was like oooh. so yeah. Some of them hear something and take it a totally different way without bothing to ask management questions to make sure they understood what they were told.

I personally have about had it with my HT. Everytime I go in they have a "new" coupon policy and will not accept some of my coupons. It makes it difficult to shop there. I think they do not like me because I really get my OOP so low. They are always very nice but "we just got a memo yesterday....."
