Argh! Can't use the coupon then. Thanks for the heads up. Why would anyone want to just buy two yogurt cups? We eat at least two a day here and it's just DH and I.

I totally agree - I can easily stop at HT every day as it's 1/2 mile from my house but for those who have a drive a ways and can only go once per week or something that's crazy! And, the way I read it, it's one free item period per transaction - from all 3 or 4 deals they're offering! So you'd have to choose if you want to do the yogurt deal or the cereal deal or whatever!

I like the idea behind what they're doing but eating ONE of their yogurts in ONE flavor is NOT going to convince me to switch, kwim? If I can try several different ones, sure maybe I'll switch to their brand (which is, I assume, their goal) but not just one.

Okay, rant over, glad to provide some useful info.

(which as you can guess I am hoping for!)

Also smart balace PB is on sale for 2.50, and a .75 q makes for 1.00 PB which is not too shabby. Also Peter Pan PB EL for 2.00 and a .50q making it 1.00.

Also barilla Plus would make a good raincheck - sale 1.67 and insert q $1.00/2, making it .67 at the next SD.

Lot's of good non advertised match ups this week.

I noticed last week that there were a lot of things on sale but not marked on the shelves. it pays to cross reference EL with your coupons.
Thanks for the deals just traded for the 0.55/1 Barilla so I have to check out the pasta stockpile to see what kind to buy. Might get more peanut butter...DH likes it except for when I have too much of it .
I had sanity once upon a time I promise . It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it.

I understand why it is just one...but remember if you don't like their brand -WHATEVER it is- you get your money back AND the national brand for free. One time I went and just complained (at my store) that the peanut butter chocolate ice cream had just a huge squirt of peanut butter in the middle instead of rippled throughout like it was supposed to be. I didn't have my receipt or EMPTY box, they just gave me my money back and told me to try again for free! I had no idea they were going to do that. My original question was did anyone else complain and I wanted a carton that wasn't like that....All you need is the empty carton and they will give you your money back and national brand. Another time I was talking to the dairy manager and told him something happened to a yogurt I bought and he handed me another (6pk or 4pk I think it was) and told me when I checked out "Tell them Jeff said I could have it for free."

This is why I love HT (aside from the great deals of course). They are the only grocery store in my area that understands what customer service is.

Pillsbury Simply buttermilk biscuits are on sale for $1 and I had an insert Q for .50/1, so free. Not sure which insert but the Q expires in early Feb. No trans fat in these either. :)

Got another Saturday special for all e-vic members today:

This IP actually prints out including the words "any ONE 2-pack or larger", so you could get them for 2.99 assuming your store will double a DND-5. About .50/roll is not too bad for viva, especially since the single rolls seem harder and harder to come by.

Are these the "choose a size"? I really don't like those as well but EL only shows those in a 6 pack.
