Do you think the $40 additional purchase to get the turkey for $0.39/lb is before or after coupons?

I posted this question on the HT Facebook page last night and they did answer me this morning, finally. Here's the cut-and-paste from the Facebook page:

"The $40 dollar purchase is after coupons are deducted and excludes non-grocery items."

It's a no-go for me, especially right after SDs. Bleh.

My friend asked the manager at our store if it was before or after coupons he told her before so who knows!

I am guessing that the price on the turkey will change when the cashier hits enter for the total. That is generally when most promos come up - such as previous $6 off 20 products etc....THEN you scan your coupons. I'm guessing it will work before coupons.
