she may have turned the machine off. Ive never seen a cashier press the button on the catalina machine. wonder why they would do that for?

I went in today with my friend to a store that I don't like to shop normally but it was close...Anyway, first my cats didn't print then my friends didn't print either...
uumm...and as my friend would say I "showed by butt" (new saying I had never heard before she said it) and just went off on the one white shirt that seems to have an issue with life. Scared my friend, pretty sure she will never tick me off on purpose but got it taken care of and he actually apologized to me-to which I thanked him for (My face must have been beet red, but I am sick of it!). Anyway after hearing excuses-It doesn't start until tomorrow, your total was less than $20...she finally said "I am going to have to call someone one, it will take anywhere from 10-30 minutes" and my reply was "I have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD"-to think they thought they could scare me off....She called and they are going to mail us the Catalinas that they are out of, and if they are expired they will honor them I was told, PLUS she said it is a system wide failure and she has taken over 200 calls today alone.

My friend then switched registers and got her catalinas on her second order AFTER the woman had already called and said "send her 2 she did 2 transactions."

You know, I hate to have to bully my way through things but it just angers me to no end when they try and come up with excuses of why it didn't work when I know darn well that I did it right!

this has been a fiasco for the usually wonderful harris teeter.
i bought 20 larabars on friday ("picture AND fine print say all varieties").
i did not use any coupons.
they were $1 each.
so.....
talked to customer service, she re-rang them all. no cat.
she wrote her name and the managers name on my receipt and said i could get store credits for all the 4 weeks, just bring it back.
i thought that may be confusing for everyone, so i emailed catalina.
they said i only bought $12 worth of qualifying items.
what????????
emailed them back.
the saga continues :(

I'm dealing with the same exact situation. Emailed Catalina and have been waiting for days now . . .haven't heard if they will send it or not!!

I have been swamped with life lately and did not even notice this promo until I got a raincheck from CS yesterday and when paging through the ad to find the item for the raincheck, I saw the promo. I got VERY lucky b/c today I went to a different HT than yesterday's (the raincheck was for the Totino's pizza---they had none left) and did this deal 2x and paid $12 for the first order and got all my cats and then $10.50 for the second order and got the cats for that one too. Very thankful that I stumbled onto this and have learned my lesson---check HCW for grocery stores more often!

I contacted HT corporate CS through their web site. This is the email I received today...

Thank you for your email. We're sorry you didn't receive your General Mills coupons. I wanted to let you know that I'm sending you four (4) $5.00 gift cards in the mail to replace the coupons and we certainly do apologize for any inconvienence.

Maybe I will get those instead of the cats they said I would get but they are out of. I just see me trying to use the expired cats and getting a hard time.
