Profit of $12.07!!!!

I have never been able to buy 45 items for 20 coupons limit during doubles or triples events. This was fabulous!

Those CATS will be gone before the week is over! I wanted to focus on GM this morning because I figure it will be hard to get all 20 items for one transaction after today.

Went early-early this morning; the store was pretty quiet, only a few couponers out and about. I'm pretty happy with what I got but made a double-rookie mistake with my OEP catalina, arrrrgh! Here's the scoop:

Total OOP, both transactions: $45.46
Saved (after coupons, cats): $99.48
Number of items purchased: 53
Average price per item: $1.17

My double-rookie mistake...I can only plead that it was 7 AM and I hadn't had my coffee yet after staying up until 1 AM the night before.

I wasn't paying close enough attention to what products qualified for the OEP cat. I expected to get the $3 cat for the ground beef but only received the $1 cat because I didn't buy the right Old El Paso items OR the right number of items. I'd purchased three taco seasoning packets, one package tortillas, and one dinner kit. Unfortunately, I thought the tortillas were included in the products for this catalina deal, and that I had grabbed four - not three - packages of taco seasoning.

As a result, my OOP total was $6 than it should've been because of the ground beef. I knew I'd made a mistake as soon as she handed me my catalinas but I had to get home by 8:30 AM this morning and was too tired and lazy to fix the mistake. Also, I had to buy Good Nites, which even with my $1.50/1 was still $6.99. /sigh

Overall though? Pretty happy. Can't wait to go back!

This morning i went after dropping my son off at school

paid $6.11 OOP
Didnt get any catalinas. The green giant one wasnt working yet for some reason at my store.
2nd transaction
6 fruit snaks
4 betty crocker potatoes
5 pop secret
3 yoplait smoothies

2 sweet moments
OOP was $14.02.
Went to customer service after both and got $5 cash back since the catalina didnt print.

So in reality i spent $15.03 since i got $5.10 cash back for the nonprinted catalinas. And i saved $101.98!

I messed up and only got 18 of the GM products - oops! And what is worse, I bought a couple of things without coupons to go toward that because I left a couple coupons behind by accident. So my OOP was higher but I can't complain. Still a good trip, I think, despite being unorganized.

I spent $14 and saved $63 on:

1 Wanchai Ferry kit
2 Good Earth kits
2 Gain dish detergents

My first trip to HT was a successful (and quiet one thanks to a cooperative toddler in an Ergo). 8-) Here's my booty (with q's used):

1 box of Kellogg's Princess Fruit Snacks -used 1 $1/1 IP
3 packs of Kool Aid Fun Fizz -used 3 $1/1 insert q's
1 20 oz bottle of Coke Zero - used 1 $1/1 tearpad q
6 bottles of VitaminWater Zero - used 3 $1/2 tearpad q's
6 boxes of GG veggies - used 2 $1/3 IPs
4 packs of PB Grands Biscuits - used 2 $1/2 IPs
2 packs of PB crescent rolls - used 1 $1/2 IP
2 boxes of Lunchables - used 2 $1/2 IPs

Less VIC discounts & coupons: -68.28

And earned $8 in CAT's - $3 for buying 6 Hamburger Helpers, $3 for buying 6 PB products and $2 for GG veggies!!

Wishing we had multiple computers in our home so I could keep the great savings rolling (esp on PB and GG products). I'm hoping to get my hands on some q booklets with the OEP coupons at some point this week.
