Anyone else here rumors of Super Doubles/Triples for week of 9/15-9/21?

I was in HT today and the cashier who always helps me said there was going to be either super doubles or triples starting next Wednesday. Has anyone else heard this? I am in the Triad area NC.

I haven't heard a thing yet but reading on the other blog looks like they are keeping it hush hush because they are having employees issues when finding out there is an event they've been asking for that week off.

We have asked in our store but anyone we asked never seems to know and they dont know why their is never any triples, the one guy said usually after doubles they do a triple event but we were like they havent had triples in like forever. so meh then he was confused but for some reason they favor super doubles. I cant remember if a reason was given for why soo many super double events. Kinda suck if the coupon event was that week! I leave on the 17th!

I spoke with one of my cashiers during the last super doubles. I asked if SD week was better or worse than triples week. She said they (cashiers) like SD week better because there are a lot fewer coupons that people use versus the triples week....

The past 3 yrs triples seemed to happen during the same time Green Giant Catalina Promo came out....since it started 9/6/10.......its possible.

Without fail, since January of this year, there has been a triple or super double coupon event at HT every 4-5 weeks. So while I expect something to happen, it seems they have been trending lately to SD events rather than triples.

Now, having said that and the employee preference for SD because it produces less coupons used, I can't help but wonder how long that will be the case, given that more and more coupons are hitting the $1 and over mark with each passing quarter.

If the motivation for SD by HT corporate is because it generates less coupons used but still gets the 'feel good' response from consumers, they will soon find that there are equally as many high dollar coupons in the hands of coupon users as not.

We can see it every week we clip coupons, more and more are trending toward higher face values that would apply for SD events.

pleeeease let it be super doubles. I bought some $1.50/1 coupons 2 months ago and been waiting and waiting. They expire Sept. 20th.

id be able to use my RC on ziplocs! Had more coupons but they er "dissapeared" so to speak. the ones that came directly from the containers that is.
