Lowes isn't so bad. They actually have good sales like the cereal deal the other week. You just have to get used to the layout.

That layout is FREAKY with a capital F!!!!!

They now have a sign in the Hickory HT that August 30 is the last day of triples.

I agree that the layout of the new LF is odd. The 29th Ave. store is actually closer to me than the new LF or HT. Before HT started the ongoing triples, if HT and LF both had something on sale for the same price, I would buy it at LF to get the fuel rewards. I will go back to doing that. Bilo is too far out of the way for me. I am in Conover about once a month and go to Bilo then.

I will be going back to shopping at Lowe's Foods. We are in Long View, so it's a long way to Harris Teeter for us. I have been getting my every day essentials (milk, bread, cigarettes) from HT to give them my loyalty. I understand that it was too good to last, so I'm not angry with them. It's just easier to get to Lowe's Foods. Also, my hubby works for MDI. They are owned by Alex Lee, which owns LF. They are the warehouse and distribution center for LF. So, I look at it like by doing this, HT is ensuring my hubby's job security. LOL

You never know they may change it back if they see less traffic. I asked the CS girl about the Sunday specials and if this would be a weekly thing. She said who knows..they are always doing different things to get shoppers in the door.

Well it's over and I'm glad I can breathe for it bit now. If you shop at the Hickory store please send a email to corporate thanking them for the great deals we have gotten. I told all the employees I would do this since they have been so nice to me. That place was packed tonight BTW-lol!

I didn't go today. I figured they would be wiped out on anything that I was wanting. Thank you for the reminder to send an email. I will be doing that for sure!

Working on the ad now most of it is posted. I stopped last night and bought chicken, starbucks frapps, sundrops for DH and the fish sticks for DS. I got to check back into Bi-Lo more now but HT does have a few things this week that look promising. But I really do need a break and so does my stockpile-LOL.
