They aren't doing it anymore. I had the manager go back with me and I still got my $9 off (Because i had asked about this prior to the deal ending). I got 10 jars of peaches, I got no cats, no $3 off and my $7.50 is gone that I had going.
And after explaining it to the manager that I now get $9 off, he had this look on his face like he thought that can't be right. I explained it to him twice. I left that aisle and went back and he was standing at the fruit looking at it again. I hope I didn't just make myself look like a shiester! I even explained to him that this is what I do all day is run the numbers in my head and work on deals because I am a wee bit OCD...
My store also had a BUNCH of items in the clearance carts...one thing I noticed was the Progresso veggie soups that were on special last week included in the 20 GM deal...they are $1.14 now.

You can only do 5 transactoins a day per card...
Also it is LIKE ITEMS not LIKE COUPONS.
There have been sale weeks (like last week) where I went out every day and did 2 or 3 transactoins at 2 stores or 3 stores. That is what gets tiring for me, I don't have an issue going to the store everyday (1.7 miles away), it is the having to go to 2 or more stores a day to try and get something, like the Peaches that only come 8 in a case and these stores were only ordering ONE case-or super doubles or triples when my smaller that normal store doesn't have but 5 items that I have coupons for (and it is items I really want) and I have to go to a few other stores so I can get what I want.

OK, thanks. I'm not sure I completely understand. I know that during SDs and triples, they have a handwritten policy written on a board when you walk in and I am pretty sure that it says they won't take more than 3 Qs that are alike, not products. Oh well....I guess they can just say no when I try it![]()
This all depends on the store. For example when I started shopping at HT I tried to buy three muir glen tomato sauces and three muir glen diced tomatoes. The cashier would not let me use six of the same coupon. But recently at the last triple event I bought three Hellmann's mayo (BOGO at the time) but I paid for them all separate on three different transactions so I could get them at the same time. When I did the Kellogg's deal the other week I did five different transactions rolling the cat all at the same time. The cashier was very nice and patient. I hope this helps.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise. It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it
.
I had a strange experience. I went to HT on Tues and picked up 5 canned tropical fruit, 2 canned mandarin oranges, and 2 canned pineapples. Total came to $10 and change (I had no Q's). A cat for $3 printed out and on my receipt it said Dole pts .48 of 10 reward. Then I went in on Wed and purchased 1 can of mandarin oranges ($1) and it took off $3.00 VIC dole reward. I'm not sure what happened but then again I don't know why I keep getting sub club points when I haven't bought any subs lately. Strange!
Maybe someone had your phone number before you and they use it instead of the vic card.
Someone had my phone number before me (my home phone) and had the vic card tied to it. I had to call HT to get it switched to my card and my name. They could tell it hadn't been used since it was the summer and this person saved 0 dollars.
I have one cashier that thinks it is 3 like coupons, I have challenged her before and won....The other day she did it again but I didn't bother (I must have been sick or something) getting into it with her...it was her lucky day. She has an issue with me but I didn't feel like taking the time to go to CS to straighten her out AGAIN.

Doubling
So if you read that, it isn't that they won't ACCEPT more than 3 they say they would DOUBLE more than 3, anything more is at face value. Plus it still says IDENTICAL ITEMS, not identical coupons.
- We accept 20 double coupons per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded.
- We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.
- We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value.
- No competitor coupons will be doubled or tripled.
- In the event of triple coupons, up to 20 coupons will be tripled per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded.
