Harris Teeter ~ Clearance: John Frieda on clearance

My Greensboro, NC had various John Frieda products on clearance ranging from $2.04- $2.48 or so. The night manager said he didn't know if it was company wide or just b/c they had limited shelf space being a smaller store. I had just bought more $2 off coupons from ebay so I racked up. I was there around midnight and the night manager didn't seem to care that I was WAY past my 3 coupon limit.

Of course they required an override and I did multiple transactions. I would have bought more, but it was late. If you like the blonde items I left all of those!!!

There were also lots of pantene, garnier, dove, white rain, aussie, nexus and I don't remember what all brands. There were kinds of brands. If I was more organized I might have been able to get lots for very cheap.

I thought the limit 3 coupons is only for ones that double ? like 3 like coupons to double. but you can use however many $1 or $2 off coupon you like cuz those dont double?

Yup, the limit of 3 alike coupons applies unless the store allows otherwise. They do that to control shelf cleaners, but I imagine on products that are on clearance it's a YMMV kind of thing?

Here's what their policy says.

We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value.

So, you should not be limited on coupons that don't double or triple. However, it also says this:

Harris Teeter reserves the right to limit quantities in coupon usage, as well as products and to amend our policies as we deem appropriate.

They are doing resets...My store had these in the clearance baskets early last week.
