Harris Teeter - Kelloggs, Keebler, Sunshine, Eggo, Morningstar catalina deal starting 8/1 - 8/14

I haven't been able to go do this deal yet, between vacation and work. I am in need of breakfast stuff!!! here is my plan though:

trans #1:
4 nutrigrain (different flavors)
6 poptarts
2 ht coffee bricks (on sale for $2 each and use the $2 off store coffee wyb 2 nutrigrain boxes)
pay about $5 and get $10 cat

trans #2:
2 poptarts
2 froot loops
6 eggo (use 2/$3 rc from way back!)
1 box store brand baggies
gallon of milk
should be around $2 after using the $10 cat and get another!

I am getting so anxious and ready to do this deal! but I gotta wait until hubby gets home before we go. urrrggghhhh must make myself busy so time goes by faster

Beth- our store doesnt have a ton of poptarts or nutrigrain...the nutrigrain shelf was bare when I went today and they only carry 3 flavors but they are on a freestanding display on the coffee aisle too. Poptarts same thing, except hey have hardly any good flavors (of course good is subjective).

Today I had to change my game plan....Poptarts anyone???

I did several transactions, I have only been doing this since yesterday. I too was away until Saturday and I wasn't excited enough to go on Sunday... I need the coffee-but wanted Whole bean on sale for $3.97

Went to another store and found the Fiber Plus that our store doesn't carry...

I figure I could get whatever flavors they had, and then exchange them later when they restock. that is ok right? I figured I would be almost out of luck on them, but I need to at least give it a shot for the cat. I can't believe I am down to 3 boxes of cereal!! I must go today no matter what.

At my Greensboro store yesterday, the person at Customer service said the Kelloggs catalina deal was ending tonight at midnight, but everyone here says it goes to the 14th. Was he mistaken (he didn't know about the deal until he asked someone else), or can the store end it at a different day from every other store?

He is referring to the sale prices of the Kelloggs items. THe catalina deal ends the 14th.

He probably meant the sale on the Kellogg's cereal. The sale prices on the cereals, bars, Eggos, and Pop Tarts all end tonight, but the Catalina should continue.

yay I got to go to ht today!!

I got:
trans 1:
4 nutrigrain
2 ht coffee bricks
6 poptarts
4.65 oop got the $10 cat!

trans #2:
6 eggos (2/$3 rc used for great deal!)
2 poptarts
1 ht baggies
2 froot loops
1 pack ground chicken
1 pack chicken thighs
1 gallon milk
total after using $10 cat=6.02
and got back the $10 cat!!

I was so happy to get out and do this deal!! I have one more raincheck for the eggos, that I may use during SD. but we'll see. tonight we decided to have waffles for dinner because we haven't had them in so long! lol

What a great deal!

I did this several times throughout the week (my store follows the HT policy and doubles coupons for three like items):

(3) Apple Jacks
(3) Froot Loops
(3) Corn Pops
(1) NutriGrain bar

After coupons it came to $2.21 OOP (including tax) and then out popped that gorgeous $10 catalina!

One day some of the coupons didn't double the right way and so the manager manually overrode the system and it ended up being .$41. I tried to tell her that it should have been more than that but she said, "Oh, it was my error - don't worry about it." Uh...OK?

HT CS is just nice that way. if they inconvenience you they try and make sure you leave happy :) thats what i love about HT!

Has anyone bought the Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats (original, 8 ct.) as part of this cat deal and successfully got the cat? These are $1.99 on sale and there is a $1/2 coupon coming out in this weekend's RP. With superdoubles and cat, these will work out to be free if you get your inserts early.
