Triples!? week of 28th - Not Occurring

So my fellow couponer who works near my hubby and emailed me today and said " i guess everyone was correct. triples will be occuring next week"
So can anyone super confirm this?

I'm not even going to think about until Foodie gets the ad in hand and confirms it. Too many false alarms lately.

I should have ad by this weekend or Monday at latest. Someone suggested (can't confirm if this is true or not?) and posted on another post on HT forum on HCW that someone said w/o 08/04/10.

I hope it is next week i have to stock up on more almond milk for my son and the coupons expire at the end of the month. I am not getting read until i find out for sure though.

I'm thinking we would have heard something more definite if triples were next week. Makes sense for HT to wait until tax free weekends in their respective states to draw in shoppers who would be elsewhere. Walmart, for example, gasp! gasp!

Its all confsing. Ill just wait until someone has the ad and knows 100%. it is only friday. hopefully its not next week. im not prepared and i am sick so i do not feel like preparing right now either!

well I think I would much rather it be the week of the 28th than the week after because I will be on vacation!!! at last if it's next week I will have 4 days to shop, if it's the week after, I'll only get 2!!! but then again, if triples doeshappen, I don't even know what I would actually get, considering the ads lately

That was me who posted that. It supports my HT's mgr thinking that HT would want triples to coincide with NC's Tax Free weekend (which is Aug 6-8th), if HT were to have triples starting Aug 4th. Anyway, the mgr at my HT saw the ad for next week and told me definitively that there is nothing about SD or triples in it, only lots of B1G1F and B2G3F deals. She and I are on very good terms and in the past, she has given me plenty of heads up about coupon events.

Thanks for the info! Either way the 28th or the 4th it coinides with everyone getting their paychecks at the end of the month (thus having more money to spend). If I were HT I would have the Triples or SD the week before.
