I am awaiting news of triples anxiously. I hope it is next week!

I am new to HT and I don't understand doubling and tripling. On the previous good deals list, there are lots and lots of $1 or $1.50 coupons that make an item free. How is it possible to use a $1 coupon and double it to $2 if they only accept coupons up to $.99?

Sorry I am so dense, I need to have this one spelled out for me.

Sometimes they do Super Doubles and will double coupons up to $1.98 (you must have been looking at a list from when they had super doubles) and other times they will have triples and triple coupons up to .99. Once we get confirmation of an event you will see a new post with good deals based on coupons that are out and things that will still be on sale.
