Expired Giant Food $3/$25 Competitor Coupon dated 06/20/10

Hi,

Just wanted to mention for all you N VA'ers and Metro DC/MD HT shoppers, that the Washington Post Sunday edition, 06/20/10, had a Giant Food $3/$25 store coupon. It was located on Page 2, I believe, on the back page of their ad supplement. It is usually a highlighted ad of some of Giant's weekly sales.

The coupon may be used as a Competitor Coupon--YMMV. Giant supplement was in the store circular ads. Hope this helps--

Foodie

Thanks Foodie! I've never used one of these before? Is the $25 before Vic, After Vic, after Qs? when do I give them this coupon. I'm nervous:shrug7:

newbie!

Thumbs Up Re: Giant Food $3/$25 Competitor Coupon dated 06/20/10

Hi,

The $3/$25 Giant Competitor Coupon should be for $25.01 (over the $25 amount).

Hope this helps.

More likely scenario - they will ask for your VIC card, and when you don't hand it over, they will wonder what's up. HT is so completely 100% consistent about asking for your VIC card, I don't know what they would say if you tried to change the usual sequence.

You would have to scan it after your total is hit, but before your other coupons are scanned, since the regular coupons wouldn't double without your card. It may come across as sneaky to the cashier.

They've been very firm about taking the $/$$ after all coupon discounts in my coupon friendly stores. I don't even use them anymore since I never spend enough.

In addition - the $/$$ often say "After all coupons/discounts", although I don't know about the Giant one.
