Re: Question about winetags I think it really depends on where you are as to if you can find the rebates. I know I have a harder time at my local store than I do at other stores...and it is the wine reps that put them out (although I am pretty sure that the seafood tags I saw last week were given to the seafood dept by the wine rep to put out)...Not all stores get the wine tags (even the ones next to each other) and also competition is a huge factor too. 2 years ago I had a MUCH easier time finding the WT than now.
And I TOTALLY get what you are saying about how the rebates want you to spend so much, and some of them have to be all in one purchase too (or same day). I have a hard time finding $15 worth of produce when the friuts at HT are so substandard compared to a produce stand (peaches MUCH better at a produce stand than at any grocery store I have gotten them from)..Even getting items that last a long time, like potatoes, onions...it is hard to get $15 worth in one day. Then the produce stands don't give receipts or they are generic and just say how much you spent not what it was for.
