Same here. The manager had to come in and key in the $3.00 off. I bought 4 @ $1.69 and then used 2 of the $1/2 Q from the penguin ($6.80-2=$4.80-$3.00=$1.80). 45 cents for a block of cheese is really good! Does anyone know how long you can freeze cheddar cheese? I found a frozen block from last summer in the back of my freezer.........

got my powerade today! $1.44 for 6! None of the coupons beeped either. I was expecting it. I had 2 extra coupons and a lady was picking up powerade so i gave them to her. 39 cents for 2 powerades is an awesome deal so she was grateful :) Otherwise i was gonna leave em on the shelf she just happened to be picking some up.

The lady who sets all the prices (scan coordinator?) told the manager after I asked that it is ONLY the cheddar cheese (sharp, mild, medium - any, but has to be cheddar) that will take the $3 off. She showed me the pic on the sign and it does show only cheddar and my store had the signs only in front of cheddar (block, shredded, and 100 calorie bites).

So, using the $1/2 and the sale, they were still a fairly good deal but not nearly as good as if the $3 came off other kinds!
