SMILE HT is growing on me :)

I just noticed the coupons at the bottom . The cashier pointed them out to me. So can someone tell me how those work since there are like 3 deals on the one thing and such.
I was super excitd to go to HT today hehe, 2nd time ive been with coupons. But this was a lil more planned out and i had more coupons to work with. Im beating myself up for using some good ones at cvs a lil while back but oh well. I seriously was soo giddy driving there. I almost sped! I had to ask a random shopper to reach the french fried onions since i decided it wouldnt be a smart idea to clambor the shelf and he was pretty tall lol. Short trip not to planned out but saved 40.89 and only spent 3.98. Then i was excited to get home and show my husbad what i got.
I emptied a photo albums to put all my 99 cent and under coupons in to take to HT during doubles/triples. So its easier to look rather then hauling a big binder with a million sections. I plan on going back friday with my father in law. thats when he gets paid. I have sme extra coupons to use since u can only use 3 like ones per day. I also threw out lst week all my expired on 4/30 ones! I dont keep track of dates easily when im not working! I need to start going to HT more often! It seems the popular deals dissapear off the shelves pretty darn fast!

Great shopping!!!!! You did very well for being new at it

To make it less confusing for myself, I don't have anything but an envelope with the list written on it, the coupon value tripled next to the item and how many of those coupons I have.

Then I just shop my list, moving from one item to the next.

I have my coupons in an expandable leatherette box that measures just the width of #10 envelopes and has 12 sections. It even has cute little metal handle to carry it and metal feet on the bottom And it sits next to my purse in the child seat.

I will take that with me just in case I find an unadvertised special (which almost always happens!) I want to take advantage of.

But using the envelope method, I fly through the store picking off what I want to get and have the coupons in the envelope to match the list.

Keep up the great work! I'm sure you have Kroger near you too, and even though they only double up to .50, you'd be surprised how many good deals they offer too that work out really well!

yeah there is a kroger somewhere.
Yeah i hada list of the sale and the coupons but not how many sorta remembered in my head! lol. I left my big coupon thing in the car. I decided to run out while dinner was cookin and let the husband finish it. Since the first time ive wnt ive organized my coupons alot better. the only thing i dont have is a printer. we have amini dell laptop and an alienware laptop with abroken spacebar . Im not sure u can hook a printerup to this lil thing. Need to invest in one im missin out on good deals! Also ive taken up to getting a few sunday papers. I never knew kroger doubled up to 50 cents. we have lowes foods but its a ways away. the closest grocery with good deals is harris teeter. Just had to tell the hubbs in order to save money you may just have to shop at a few diff stores for everything. I was kinda bombarded with triple coupon week i had no idea. I didnt get my paper out of my front yard till this afternoon lol.

Yup, the ability to print really expands your coupon file - lots of good ones.

But you can always trade here and find coupons for everything you need too! And it's wonderful!

My daughter is a Vitamin Water person and with a sale coming up at CVS for $1 each, the coupon out there $1/2 would make those a good deal combined with some ECB's and a $5/$40 - picked up 74 (at two different CVS though so I didn't wipe them out) and they ended up costing 31 cents each vs. $1.49 regular price!

I got the coupons I needed to really buy the volume I wanted here! I think I paid $4 for 50 of them - saved me over $100! Very worth it.

Also, post on the ROAK (random acts of kindness) coupon giveaway threads! Lots of variety and always a pleasant surprise too!

You win a couple of those and you'll have a really rounded out collection of coupons

I love HT! Even when it's not triples, there are always some great deals. They are sooo customer friendly. I never have problems with coupons, even the ones that beep! And those 3.99 subs on Fridays are the bomb! I've had managers go in the back to check stock for me and one general manager I showed a coupon to and asked him if I had the correct product and he said Yes it appears to be and if you have any problems, have them page me and I'll over ride it for you. They seem to really want your business, even if you are a couponer. Yea for HT!

Ive never had an issue at harris teeter. None of my coupons have ever beeped either. I wish the husband got paid today so ic ould go today. But i have to wait to return till tomorow. cuz im just gonna get good deals and freebies with the extra coupons i couldnt use the other day.

I have to say, having been a mystery shopper at IGA, HT, Kroger, Lowes that the store that rises WAY above the others on customer service is HT - no one comes close.

Without fail, the best customer service consistently. And clean stores, bathrooms, knowledgeable staff etc.

    Love HT!
