I left some One A Day $2Q at my HT today...the kids kind is on sale for $5.99 and my friend needed some so I left the other 8 coupons that I couldn't use on top of them.
I love it when I find FREE catalinas. I have gotten 2 for Breyers 6pks before.
I just personally wanted to thank whomever left a .50 Lysol Kitchen cleaner coupon propped on the cleaning shelf at the HT (I think it's Mint Hill) allowing me to get a free one with triples. It was so cool and I thought, "WOW! There are some very cool and classy coupon cutters out there." I thought this deserved special thanks!
I think it's rather neat when I find little coupons all over the store that people have left, and now I have started to do the same for things that we might not use. Hopefully it can really help someone get a good discount like I did!
Anyone else have any fun "coupon finding" stories? It feels like an Easter egg hunt only with coupons!![]()

I always try to leave them around and even pass them out to other customers (if they look friendly!) I leave more around the end of the month as so many expire. I'm always thrilled to find one for myself too!
I love coupon fairies!

I love the coupon fairies too. During SD last time someone left a few of the Sure for Men deodarant q's there - free stuff for DH! Today the nicest lady walked over to me and handed me a stack of baby q's. She said, "Oh, I remember those days, you have beautiful children." What a sweetheart!

Saving and loving it in NC! I shop at Harris Teeter, CVS and Target mainly.
Coupon fairies are awesome! I love it when I get to be one!
I agree! It's such an "awe, that's so nice!" moment, even if it's something I don't need and won't take it, it just makes me feel like humanity hasn't gotten totally lost!
I too leave coupons around, kills me for a coupon to go to waste! And you never know, if you leave a coupon and a customer finds it that normally doesn't use them, will it compel them to try using more, start saving and learn the joys of couponing?? That's a big hope of mine too - that it spurs further use, that it motivates them in some way.
Coupons are found money - who walks by money on the ground??
Saving money ~ it's a way of life, not an attitude
Today I actually found one I could use. Usually when I spot one lying on the shelf, it's expired.
I left 3 today and picked up and used one. This happens quite frequently at my store:)
Wishlist - updated 5/10 & NBPN rebates for NC!
I don't neccesarily leave q's on the shelf - afraid that staff will take them away - so I'll give some to a customer that looks friendly or give some to the staff. I know that some of the Walgreens staff will take some of the extra q's that I have & pass it along to customers...
Last week - I gave a lady a .50/1 Quilted Q @ Safeway & I wasn't expecting anything (I had extras) ... OMG - after she'd finished her grocery shopping, she turned to me & asked me if I wanted the Catalina that just came out for her... I said sure - I won't turn down a Q - you never know... It turned out to be a $50 Kohl's Buck! Mom & I got tons of free clothing!
