Does anyone have a breakdown on how the McCormick Q is working with the Vanilla extract? I can't get it to come up on express lane, but the small bottles were around $3.29 at our local store. This is how I assume it would work:

1st & 2nd bottles - $3.29 - 2.25 for $.75 Q (triples up to full reg price of 1 item)
3rd bottle - $1.65 - $1.65 for $.75 Q tripled
= $1.04 - $2.50 ONYO

Does this look right, or is it even ringing up this way?

On the McCormick vanilla, I have to say I was surprised that the scenario posted by slickcat79 on another thread is correct. On BOGO items, if you have "excess" coupon value on the first item, it will roll/transfer (whatever you want to call it) to the second free item (which you can't use a coupon for).

I did two separate McCormicks transactions today involving BOGO items and here is what I got:

Bought 3 cinnamons
+ $2.95 cost each x 3 = $8.85
- BOGO reduction = ($4.43)
- used just two $.75 coupons = (4.42) (so only lost $.08 of coupon value)
= all three items free while using just 2 coupons, PLUS a $2.50 cat

Bought 1 Chili powder at $2.65
Bought 1 Basil at $2.89
Bought 1 1oz vanilla extract at $3.85
- Less ($1.93) BOGO value on vanilla
- Used three $.75 coupons (all tripled) = ($6.75)
OOP = $.71 plus got $2.50 cat

In the second transaction, the excess coupon value for the vanilla even rolled over to cover additional cost on the basil and chili powder. Pretty amazing.

I will edit later when I have a chance to update with specifics, but I spent $2.65 this morning and saved $53!! I just love the first day of triples! Part of my success was due to the fresh foods $5 credit that I must have earned yesterday.

Hmmmm... It is possible that I was looking at the wrong shelf tag. My Qs haven't come in yet, and they were already wiped out anyway. I'm just hoping that they will restock often because I'm almost out of vanilla, and this is the best deal in a long time.

Really weird things going on with my card this morning. I bought 16 items, and no tripling at the register. When she said total was 16.xx, I knew something was terribly wrong. I had carefully calculated so that my total would be tax only.

I have no idea what happened. They have no idea what happened. They rang up my order 4 times, using my card again - first time, someone else's name was on my reciept even though I watched her scan my card. 2nd time they scanned my card and it had the correct name and number, but still no tripling.
So the manager came over and told them to use the store card. That didn't work (they told me later the store card never triples...)
So they tried again.
Finally they manually tripled the coupons, which unfortunately is the store's loss. They never did figure it out.
I saw other couponers, none of whom seemed to be having problems.
So I called cs when I got home and they told me there was no activity on my card for today....Nothing has changed, my dh and I have 3 cards that are merged. He never uses coupons, No one else that I know uses my card or phone # - even if they did, it would show up as a transaction on my card account.
So I'm baffled. I still have 4 coupons I can use today, but I'm afraid it will be messed up.
The cs person told me I could use all 20 coupons again, since nothing is on my card - I guess I might, and consider it a little something for my trouble.
But then, if my card still doesn't triple, I don't know what I'll do.
I guess I could just get a new card.
