QUESTION BOGO Dilemma

I tried to buy two Chex mix on sale today and for the first time the cashier told me she could only accept one coupon for BOGO. I've never had that happen before... are they just getting more strict or does it just depend on who's at the register. I was bummed. I shop at the HT in Matthews, NC.

Anyone else having more issues with this?

Their policy clearly states one coupon per bogo so she was just enforcing the policy. You can, however, buy one at half price, use one coupon then turn around and do it again next trip,

That is their official policy. On hcw we ask all members to post following a stores official policy. You can do separate transactions and use 1 coupon since HT's bogos ring up at half price.

Oh, I'm not mad at the lady doing her job... it just took me by surprise b/c it's never happened. I did go read the policy today to be sure and she was right. But in a lot of ways this is kinda silly... people are just going to do separate transactions and find a way to do it anyway, so why bother enforcing it? I could understand if I was trying to buy a lot of it but I was only buying 2... I really wish they would change the policy. Wishful thinking, I know. Sigh... :(

It's a good thing I live only a mile from HT! I gotta go back and use my other coupon on one chex! :)

Oh, am I in violation? I'm pretty new to the site and couponing so I didn't realize I was asking a taboo question. Sorry.
