Re: is anyone in the charlotte area finding Fisher nut products? I'll check my local HT store on Tuesday........I was at one 6 miles further out yesterday.
I have found these 2 stores to have different items and different prices.
At one time, one carried Promiseland milk and the other did not.
And one carried Nesquick milk and the other did not. And an occassional price variation.
I noticed HT trying to beat out Bi-Lo on Hot Pockets. HT is $1.99 and Bi-Lo $2 locked in for some weeks.
Just a little "friendly competition". Something I might expect Andy Rooney on 60 minutes to comment on, a one cent lower price to get me spend the gas to go there............or the wide variety of "contents" you get on the various flavors of Quaker oatmeal, some boxes have 10 packets and some only 8 and it can be confusing if you just start grabbing boxes and do not read the labels as to packs and ounces (and they, whoever they is, are now trying to convert all of us from ounces to grams?).
I say WHAT happened to the HALF gallon ice cream cartons for heavens sakes?
Breyer's is down to around 50 ounces........wait a minute.
I have two cartons of Breyer's in front of me:
Fried Ice Cream Overload and Smooth and Dreamy Chocolate Chip.
Breyer's is toooo embarrassed to tell us the ounces any more, they are now stating on both cartons, 1.5 quarts. However, the Overload says 1.42 liters and the Chocolate says 1.41 liters. Where's the other .01 liter?
I bet Andy Rooney could explain it. |
