Okay folks, I am hoping all my couponing counterparts out here can lend a helping hand!!

I convinced the mgr at HT344, located on 6024 Falls of the Neuse, that I needed to send in a pallet of our new Wheatables Nut Crisp for Super Doubles because they would be FREE with the coupons we've been putting out. I just KNEW they would be flying out the door ~ surely my fellow couponers would snatch up a FREE product! Here's my SOS!! HELP! Either no one is able to find them (the pallet is on the back aisle by the milk) or I underestimated the power of coupons/couponers. PLEASE help me get rid of these before SD is over! I've got coupons all over the store (side note: please don't take the whole pad! I need to have them there so the "average" shopper may decide to "buy" them) so.....

PLEASE HELP ME GET THESE OUT THE FRONT DOOR!!!

btw ~ if you're in the Rocky Mount area, my counterpart could use your assistance, too. Managers get so anal when they think product may have to go to the back room as back stock!:shrug7:

I wish we had those coupons here. I hit three stores tonight and nada. I did get some lays $1/2, tons of blinkies, kraft fl tearpads and sara lee bread tearpads. Send some to Hickory and I'm sure they would be gone.

I have been "buying" a bunch in the Charlotte area...I really like them too!

I found the coupons at my store and got a couple boxes. My family really likes them! Wish I was close enough to the Falls of Neuse store to help out...

Never tell a manager how much stuff to order unless you are prepared to buy it all. Tell them what the good deals are going to be and then let them decide how much to order, that way you're not left in a position to 'take care' of their overstock issues. I hope some people can help you out but honestly we're only allowed to buy 3 of the same thing at a time anyway...

Hey - I think it's great to have someone in an ordering position looking ahead for the great deals! Even if we are allowed 3 per transaction, you could get 3 each day for a total of 21 boxes!
I don't think it's unreasonable to expect it to fly off the shelves.
Several of my stores are wiped out.
They are really good, by the way.

I'm just saying, if you tell them a number/amount to order, then you put yourself in the position of being responsible for the amount that they ordered. If you just say 'this is going to come out free, and I personally will buy 21 boxes but others are going to want some too', then you are only responsible for the 21 boxes you told them you'd buy, and the rest is their business, not yours.

I know back several triples ago I spoke with the dairy/frozen food manager and told him about the pizza rolls deal coming. He ordered 50 CASES of them. I was worried because I had told him of the deal and to order extra. He did end up selling them all, but I know he ticked off a few of his employees because of it. It was nice, I had plenty the entire sale, normally they run out on noon of the first day of the sale then I have to be there the day they come in again if I want any since they are always buy 2 get 3 free so they WANT people to buy 5 at a time.

I think you misunderstood. I did not "tell" him to order anything. I simply pointed out these facts: 1.) Product is on sale for 2.99 2.) Coupon is $1.50/1 3.) These two facts during SD will make the product FREE. The shelf can not support this and would be constantly wiped out. In addition I pointed out it would only take 4 customers who took full advantage of using coupons (3 like coupons~not even taking into consideration some might use 4) to move 1 case out the front door.

He was the one who authorized the extra product be brought in for this promotion because of these facts. I simply do not want to deal with having a lot of extra product in my back stock (I am the vendor for this product, not the store).

I know as an avid couponer how frustrating it is to know of a good deal, go to the store (several times, I might add) and always find the shelf Empty where that product SHOULD be. This time, I had Some control of that situation, and wanted to prevent that from happening with one of the products I handle.

Just wanted to look out for others who might want to take advantage of this deal.......
