Not worth the trouble:) Today at 8am, worst than any Black Friday I have ever seen or heard about. Familes of three or more, each with their own buggies and "gameplans" like it was a covert mission and their lives depending on it. Rudeness from shoppers galore to each other and cashiers who would not bend the rules for them on the 20 coupon minimum, no two coupons on B1G1F items, etc. I felt sorry for those cashiers! Only two cashiers and no baggers. I actually overheard a wife tell her spouse "Since he knew how to behave this time, she would bring back!" LOL! Cut his "manhood" off right there in the store! Not worth the trouble by a long mile. I'll stick with everyday doubles!

Sorry your store was such a madhouse. Mine however was quite pleasant - there were plenty of people shopping, but the store had also planned ahead and had more cashiers than usual, and everyone was friendly. I got almost everything I went looking for and will be back tomorrow (and the next day). No trouble for me, and definitely worth it. Everyday doubles will not get me $0.27 kitty litter, $1.00 white grape juice, and free Lysol wipes, so back again I go. LOL :)

That coupon should work for any LipSmackers, if I remember the coding correctly. Which is good, because how the heck am I supposed to know which Lip Smackers they came out with this year?

I went back & got some more of the Lysol wipes. Such an awesome deal! I should have gotten the kitty litter early this morning when I saw it. I ask a stocker & he said that it should be restocked during the night & to come back the next day. Should I go back way early in the morning to make sure I get some? I'll wake up at 4:30 if I have to.

I was able to find the Lipsmackers at another HT up in Fort Mill. :)

I'm actually kinda glad some of the old timers aren't excited about this sale. Maybe they'll leave more for the newbs like me who aren't as good at this instead of clearing out a shelf because they can get another half-dozen salad dressings for 4¢.

see, I personally am really excited about this SD. I have coupons for items I actually use/want. I had a really hard time limiting myself to 20 today and can't wait to go back tomorrow. I go after what I use and not necessarily just what is free though. I was really happy to get cheap raisin bran, juice, baby food, panty liners (since they are usually out by the time I get there after I drop my older baby off at play school), pork tenderloins and cleaning supplies.
    Can't wait for tomorrow

I got the one and only tidy cat litter. Sent my husband to Steven's Mill (sp?) they were out too.

I could not find the Revlon clipper or the Starbucks Frapp for 1.99 that had the IP coupon posted.

This site has been SO helpful in planning my lists each week. I've lurked for a few weeks and finally had the guts to put up my first post today.
    You did awesome and!

My 3 and 1/2 month old decided to double her morning nap today and you know what they say - never wake a sleeping baby. Not even for the first day of Super Doubles! She had her own Super Double event going on!

So at 10:45 our store was packed! My OOP was high as a lot of frees were gone and I needed some things for a babyshower in a few weeks and in need of some TP. I had a hard time getting to 20 Q's. I am going OOT until Monday, usually I would be bummed but this event is not that great for me.

2 cases of Nestle water (for baby shower)
    2 Quilted Northern
    2 Brawny
3 boxes of Beechnut baby cookies
    3 Pert Plus for Men
3 Sure Deodarants for Men (DH is going to get over that they are not gel since they were free! LOL!)
    3 pineapple
    1 cheese nips
    1 Wheetables
    4 Kotex liners
2 Capri Suns (not that great of a price but my 1/2 Q was about to expire and my DS has been begging for juice boxes)

My total was right around 29.xx and I saved about 79.xx
Danielle, wife to Michael and mom to Jack (3 and 1/2) and our newest addition Mary-Kate (born 10/27/09)

Saving and loving it in NC! I shop at Harris Teeter, CVS and Target mainly.

    m2extreme and others,

The Starbucks single bottles are in the fridge section, near the produce. They have cold grab 'n go bottles for those running in for quick meals right next to the sushi bar in my HT.
