What part of "all others will be redeemed at face value" says we will only take 3 like coupons!

When did they change the policy to only doubling 3 like coupons? I thought it was 4 like coupons, and in fact I've been using 4 like coupons per order at least a couple of times a week at HTs in Durham and in Cary. They've been great about it, no trouble at all. There's one particular white shirt at one location who always looks for any excuse to refuse a coupon, but most of the others are really helpful and make me want to come back.

The policy has been 3 like *doubling* coupons at HT for at least the last 2.5 years (that's how long I've been couponing, and HT is where I started). Maybe you confused HT w/ Lowes Foods? Lowes Foods' policy is 4 like coupons. HT's registers do not enforce the limit though, it's up to the customers and the cashiers, so it's possible that you have been using 4 like coupons by mistake and the cashier just hadn't noticed or that store may not be particularly picky about the limits.

The policy actually reads that they will double coupons for 3 like items, not that they will double 3 like coupons. So you ought to be able to get different colors or flavors or whatever in multiples of 3 and have all your coupons double. I have actually seen the register enforce the policy when you buy more than 3 completely identical items with completely identical coupons.

I get frustrated with the stores sometimes too. They have a policy item that says they won't take IPs for free items, and that apparently includes BOGO coupons as well. But that's not in the written policy. And BOGO is not the same as free. Otherwise I should just be able to just walk out of their store with everything that's on BOGO sale. It's free, right?

It's irritating because this is HT, and they are supposed to be better than that. It's not Walgreens. They have a comprehensive written policy, so it shouldn't be that hard to just follow it.

My HT only allows 2 IPs per day per transaction...period. And they won't accept more than 3 qs on a like item...3 Oikos Yoghurt/3qs. It doesn't matter whether they are different flavors or not. They told me that Oikos Yogurt is Oikos Yogurt!
