Steamfresh for -36¢ I didn't notice this until I got home, but I thought it was kinda cool. One of my eVICs was for a bag of Lightly Sauced Steamfresh for 99¢. But when it rang up, it looked like this:
BE SF Red Pot/C (red potatoes w/butter chive sauce, mmm) PC 2.69 VIC Savings 1.35-
VIC Savings 1.70-
Price you pay .36-
Looks like it took off for both the regular VIC special and the eVIC special. I was wondering why the coupon had to be overridden. I wasn't paying attention while the cashier was scanning. I was bagging my stuff because I had to carry it 2 miles and I wanted it packed right.
Essentially I got 2 for -51¢, since I had 2 50¢ off Qs (one doubled, one had to be overridden and didn't double). And I thought getting 2 for 34¢ was a pretty good deal.
Overall it was a pretty good trip. I got a random discount on Poptarts and HT milk (eVIC? I dunno, it's not in my email). Poptarts were supposed to be 2/$2.99, but I got another 67¢ off and paid $2.32 for 2 (and had a $1/2 Q). The milk wasn't on sale but I got 33¢ off it somehow, plus another $1 off for buying the 2 boxes of Poptarts. Altogether, 2 12-packs of Poptarts and a gallon of 1% HT milk for $3.49.
Anyone else had this happen to them?
